Excellent thriller
My stress level was so high throughout this movie. I was talking to the screen, covering my mouth from the squeals, and by the finale I was wide-eyed and silently holding my breath. Exactly how a good thriller should be. Not sure why the hate. You all have seen cat-and-mouse thrillers before, right? They all have things going terribly wrong for the "mouse". It's how they make a film long enough to be a film. You want it 'realistic' and over in minutes? Go back to TikTok. I was too busy being engrossed and stressed out to worry about what could have should have happened to make the story more 'realistic'. The non-stop thrills were excellent.

Exciting horror, adrenaline filled chaos with a little frustration
Well done, action, and terror rapped up in one tasty roll. Some parts a little frustrating but otherwise well done plot, excellent acting. Characters were enjoyable even the boldness of the villain. Watch and enjoy this edge of your seat show. Enjoy it, I sure did.

Midnight - Written Review
(THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS) The movie was thrilling from beginning to end... I was shocked by how good the movie was. Each actor gave life to their character. Jin Ki-Joo (who played the deaf girl, Kim- Kyung-mi) did excellent in expressing sign language and being fearless when confronting the killer. Wi Ha-Joon (who played the killer, Do-sik) gave chills down my spine and perfected the killer role. Kim- Kyung-mi was very smart in realizing that her mom doesn't have perfect spelling which saved her from opening the door(in the house scene) and putting the knife in Do-isk's hand to frame him of stabbing her( in the last scene). The brother and sister(Seo-Jung & Jang-to) did a fabulous job portraying a concerned sibling and stubborn sibling. The mom also showed how much she cared for her daughter which was delivered nicely. I overall am pleased with the movie and it's personally one of my favorites. 😊😊😊

This was an awesome movie. Great acting. Plot was great as well. If you're looking for a thriller that keeps you glued to the monitor/television screen, then this is for you.

Fake reviews, literally NOTHING makes sense
I was tricked into buying this ridiculous movie by a nice looking trailer, a 6.4 on IMDB, and the presence of the cop from Squid Game. I couldn't believe how stupid this movie was. As it went on, less and less of it made sense. In fact, NOTHING MAKES SENSE. It's almost an artform; it's almost a skill to have so little make sense. I would like the meet the person who made this, because it must take a certain type of "special" to create something so idiotic that it seems like it's based on the logic of a sleepy or daydreaming child. I was going to list everything about this movie that was nonsensical, but then I realized that I'd have to comb through literally every scene. I'd have been better off ordering some other horror movie with a 2/10, at least it would have some semblance of human logic behind it - IT MAY have even had an understanding of how the world works.

Tense and Well Done Thriller
Midnight was a tense and extremely well-done thriller that made good use of the premise that the main character (and her mother) were both deaf and trying to escape a killer. The periodic lack of sound at time was excellent way to build tension as the audience knew something was off but the main character could not hear those warning signs. Definitely worth a watch!

So frustrating....spoilers!
The actors do well with what they have to work with... I was enjoying the movie until the police interaction, where the 2 women and the killer are at the station with the TWO policemen. One woman figures out that the man is the killer as the brother of the victim that he picked up earlier (beginning the involvement of the women), comes in to report her missing. The killer realizes they have it figured out, threatens one and then tries to kill the brother, inside the tiny station while the TWO policemen are smoking outside. Fighting blah blah police walk in with the brother holding the killers' own knife to his throat, gets tazed. The killer babbles some bs while the brother is stunned, the two women outside where they ran and sent police in moments ago. Killer walks away. A thousand times the women could have cleared things up easily, with a few written sentences. This should have been a short story ending here. All the actors do well, the mother and killer doing a stellar job showing their emotions and thoughts with great expressions.

Silence will fall
A cat and mouse thriller with a very interesting premise similar to mute witness. But instead of gangsters being the villain it's a serial killer who hunts a deaf and mute girl after she becomes a witness to crimes. Racing against the clock to not only save her own life, but the life he's latest victim.
