Just Play Kitty Surprise Sasha Plush

I am a toy collector, I've reviewed the puppy/kitty/etc. surprise line extensively, so please check out my other reviews for more information. This review will cover how substantial the differences between Sasha and Autumn are.I knew that, as a variant collector, I would be buying Sasha, even though the pictures I could find show her to be similar but slightly different from Autumn, who I also own. I've discovered they are EXTREMELY different and I'm SO glad I bought them both, if you are also a collector, I strongly recommend adding both to your collection.I'm SO GLAD I picked up Sasha, I just stumbled on her at my local TRU, $24.99, same I paid for Autumn. I go to stores often to check what they have out of the Etc. Surprise line in case I stumble on one I don't have.Advice from an adult collector; if you find one you're looking for at retail price point IMMEDIATELY BUY IT, there are so many of these that I have literally only seen once, the time I bought them, and didn't see again. There are a couple that are more common that you'll see a lot of, but this whole line moves fast and steeply inclines in price the second it hits the secondhand market, so if there's one specific one you feel you MUST have for your collection, you might get stuck paying upwards of $100 or more for it if you are lucky enough to see it retail and you don't act immediately, and you end up having to resort to the secondhand market. I saw Autumn twice, the first I bought her, and then probably a year later I saw her again. I saw 3 Sasha's at the store yesterday, and one I bought. (I also saw 1 Jilly and 1 Breezy, I followed my own advice and bought them.)Another issue with buying these secondhand is that you have no guarantee that they have not been tampered with. The amount/type of babies you receive may have been changed, because the babies go for a steep price secondhand even alone.In all of my pics, Sasha and Sasha's babies are on the left, Autumn and Autumn's babies are on the right. The most immediate difference you see is their face paint. Autumn was part of wave 2, many years ago, and there have been lots of release seasons since then, but it shows, Autumn's face looks SO primitive compared to Sasha. There are 3 times the amount of different paint colors of Sasha's face as there are on Autumn's face. That is an indication of how many passes the painting equipment had to make. More passes, more paint, more time, more money. But they knew, by the time they designed Sasha, that they could make enough units to cover the additional manufacturing cost of Sasha, because the line so far has been a tremendous success.Sasha has glitter eyeshadow and glitter on her nose, she has more detailed eyes, the faces are much different than I expected, but as I kept looking, I just kept finding more and more.Sasha only has a bow on her head. Autumn has two bows on her head and her tail, both bows are a ribbon bow and a glitter lace bow, so that's 4 bows on Autumn to Sasha's 1. Autumn's collar and tag are pink, Sasha's are purple. Autumns tail is sewn on to point downwards, Sasha's is a different shape and sewn to point upwards. Both Autumn and her babies contain more stuffing than Sasha and her babies. One of Sasha's babies makes noise (the one in front of Sasha on the far right of her three babies in the photo).And look at the BABIES! Autumn's babies contain more stuffing and the bows are on the backs of their heads. Sasha's baby's bows are at an angle, they are tilted to the baby's left side. One of Sasha's has glitter ears, none of Autumn's babies (even any I don't have) are going to have glitter on them anywhere. One of Sasha's babies has a black painted nose and mouth, all the rest of the babies are pink nosed. But look at their EYES. Autumn' babies have green eyes with long lashes, Sasha's have blue eyes that are wider opened. Their eye shapes are SO DIFFERENT. The baby's body fabric is matte on Autumn's, but shiny and a completely different fabric on Sasha's.I hope I've helped you decide whether to add both to your collection and/or which you would prefer to have. Initially there was just the question of whether Rosie or Sunshine were different from one another (they are), but now there are several of these that are slightly different, Sasha and Autumn are not slightly different, they are VERY different. This was the one gift my daughter asked for for Christmas. Much to everyone’s surprise, there were NO kittens. She was a sad little girl.

Loved this. Waited ages to buy and when I went down in priced I snapped it up. Amazing. Didn't know the kitten made a noise! My daughter is a huge cat fan and she was over the moon .

Arrived on time no rush as its a christmas pressie for my grandaughter, beautiful colour love it thanku amazon once again.

My granddaughter loved Sasha and babies
