Love this author and the way the wildlife and countryside are described.

Not sure what I expected from this short book, having never walked solo in the country after dark. But although I found the narration beautifully descriptive, it just made me feel uneasy. Just like wild swimming, I was glad I didn’t have to endure the experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful book whose only fault is to be too short.Six more words required to post

It's a lovely read however very short thus well over priced

Another tremendous book by Lewis-Stempel which took me past my fear of walking at night and taught me how to enjoy it. A different world!
