Make sure you get one size up
Well what can I say. This is the 3rd set I picked up online thinking if I get a size M (age 6-12) and my son just turning 7 it should fit him perfectly. I had to use the end of the Velcro strap barely attaching it to make it wrap around his elbow and knees. After putting it on without making it too tight hurting him he said it hurts.Only part of the set fits him perfectly without hurting him was the wrist guard. I think eventually i need to find a elbow and knee pad where you slip on like adult ones.I would recommend these M size more for 5 year old. But again depends on your kids.Update: The seller contacted me after they read my review that it didn't fit my son too well so they offer to replace with one size up when they have it in stock. Whenever a seller contact a buyer first when they are not 100% satisfy is a plus. Highly recommend dealing with this company. So buy with confident to try and see if it fits your kid.

If I could wrap my 40ish lb, 7 year old daughter in bubble wrap and still have her able to skateboard, I would. Otherwise, size small works.
