If you've read my other reviews you'll see a trend - I am always searching for a quality and durable product for the most competitive price possible. I have 4 large dogs (a Pit, a Lab, a Shepherd-mix, and a Rottie-mix) so quality of the clasp/supporting leash and of the stitching in the "hooman" end of the leash is important to me. This is a well made training leash (lead) that permits me to work with my dogs on recall or on fetch and returning. I am comfortable with the quality to keep my Pit in control while away from me. She's a sweet dog but we know how a Pit biting another aggressive dog will turn out for my Pit - and I love my Pit and trust this product to keep her safe. It's cotton so you may notice a bit of weathering to the color - that just means you're spending time with your dog and it hasn't affected the strength or quality. Highly recommend this quality lead (or leash).

We have a Siberian husky that is super energetic and he needs to be able to run freely, but cannot be trusted off leash. This leash is perfect. It allows him to be in open areas without being held strictly close to us. Ever since we got it we take him to the field by our house and let him run and play. We also bring lawn chairs so we can just enjoy being outside together. We're super excited to take him camping with this leash. The photos here show when the leash just arrived how long it was wound up in a circle, and also the width of the leash. It was thinner that I was expecting, but it is plenty strong so that is a good thing. The leash is nice and light and thin so our dog runs as if nothing were even there. The video doesn't show the leash fully extended, but it shows a happy puppy running free.

I purchased this training lead not for training, but for putting out a 1.5 year old pug when the weather is too gross for a walk. This is a great product because it allows my little monster to run around the yard freely, and it also allows me to reel him in when he tries to eat my other pug's poop - he's gross and not a very good listener; I love him. In any case, I'm not using this for any heavy duty applications, just heavy doody ones, and it seems to be working quite well. I looped the leash around a wrought iron railing which isn't going anywhere anytime soon; the material is more than strong enough and seems like it will last a long time.

I love this leash. We adopted an insanely active German Sheppard/ Akita mix. He loves hikes and exploring. While we are still in the process of training him, this leash allows him to explore (rivers without dragging me in too)! Now, to be honest.... I am actually going to be ordering my second one. My guy took a chomp at it and almost cut through the whole thing. So If you have a chewer, this is not impervious to teeth. HOWEVER that is not the leashes fault (totally our bratty puppy guy). He also chewed through the harness (in the photo).... and his bed... and all his tennis balls..... BUT the leash itself is totally amazing and the price makes it completely worth a buy! (or second buy!)

Nice cotton feel. Also purchased the Pettom Gear 50'x3/4" Cotton Web Dog Training Lead. The Justzon is about 1/8" narrower webbing and has a slightly larger clasp than Pettom.

This lead was perfect for training my adopted shepherd to stay in the yard! I used this for a few weeks and it worked itself out of a job. For the first week or so, I held onto the lead so the dog would feel the tension and hear my command. When she got comfortable and started listening, I let the lead loose and trailing behind her. This allowed her more freedom, but gave me the chance to intervene if the dog started to wander too far away.

This is really good quality for such a low price! We just moved into our house and we haven't set the fence up yet, so I was looking for a long leash to take my dog out on so she can play in the snow and have fun without me having to worry about her leaving the yard. I do have to say, if you have a very small dog ( less than 15 lbs) this probably won't work very well for you. My shiba inu is almost 20 lbs and this was almost too heavy. I could tell it took her a few times to get used to having a heavier leash. She seems fine with it now, but I feel like with a much smaller dog having this hang around their neck from a collar would be uncomfortable. The clasp is metal and very sturdy and big. Obviously it tangles up and knots easily if you're not careful but that's to be expected with a gigantic leash. Of course also keep in mind, this should not be used as a tie out. You should still supervise your dog when they're on it because they could get caught on something or get it wrapped around their legs.

I already had this leash (from petsmart) and wanted another. Saw this on amazon for a lot less. Now I know why. The manufacturer did not match the size of snap to width of leash. This review is of the snap only. Leash material & quality is fine. My complaint is the size and the weight of the snap. The snap is too large for the width of leash making the snap too heavy for a small dog’s neck. Lesson learned.
