Emergen-CHydration+ Sports Drink Mix with Vitamin C (18 Count, Orange Spritz Flavor with Glucosamine), Electrolyte Replenishment, 0.34 Ounce Powder Packets

The taste is not great - my husband likes them fine but I find it fairly disgusting - but they’re so handy for after workouts. I got them to take on air travel to have after arrival, we tend not to drink much while traveling, to avoid having to squish into those dollhouse sized airplane bathrooms, so rehydrating upon arrival is always mission critical for us. Usually we just chug a lot of water as soon as possible, but that’s not ideal since hydration relies as much on electrolytes as fluids, if not more. I’d been looking at various hydration powders and salts for some time, trying to find a balance between flavor, amount of electrolytes, and price. Eventually I decided to try these, since each packet has far more electrolytes than the second choice Nuun tablets, and for a much better price. If I could fix the flavor, I’d be perfectly happy with these. Perhaps I’ll try adding some liquid flavorings to my own.

As one who suffers from nighttime muscle cramps, this product has salvaged my sleep. As long as I drink Emergen-C Hydration everyday, I do not have nighttime muscle cramps. Depending on my activity level, I drink a couple ounces to several ounces. It gives a nice energy boost, so it is better for me to consume my daily ration before 2 p.m. P.S. I have tried many, many products to reduce muscle cramps and Emergen-C Hydration is the only true preventative for me.

Wow, am I ever impressed! I have an Immune disorder, get Infusions and was told I need to drink Sports drinks with Electrolytes. Dreading the nasty, salty taste, I started reasearching them and found this.I drink it before and after exercise to stave off a headache and when I have a migraine, it's usually gone within a half hour.

If you like orange drink x 3 with ground up vitamin this is for you...This drink is gross. I bought it because I have a upper respiratory thingy and inflammation in my ribs...I thought, oh, glucosamine,cool. Nopes! This drink tastes like the company just ground up a tablet and called it a day. To say the texture of this drink is strange would be an understatement. Maybe there are people out there who don't mind it, I don't know but I couldn't get past one packet.Also, I like sweet things but this is over the top. A wired saccharine sweetness overwhelmed my palate....all I can say is blahhhhh. I would suggest noping this one. Hard pass.

I use this product when I do not eat or hydrate well usually due to the demands of work and schedule. Also I add it to water that I drink at night - I try to hydrate at night to build up a reserve for when I cannot drink during the day. It has a refreshing flavor and is not sweet; this and a protein bar are a great combination for when you missed lunch and are dragging at the 4 o'clock hour wondering when the day will end and when the next hot meal will be in sight. The packets have a tear tab on the making it easy to dispense into a bottle of water.
