This was FUN! Well... if you don't mind doing the same thing 32 times.
I loved my experience building this 3D Metal Model of the London Eye. I visited this attraction years ago and it was definitely nice to revisit it in this manner.Firstly, my main advice to anyone interested in building these models is: BUY A TOOL KIT! I purchased thisĀ B096DT59T7 17 Pieces Metal Puzzle Tool Set Ā for this build.Previously, I build a very simple Eifel Tower model and a San Francisco Trolley metal model without a toolkit and while they were fun to build, they also weren't easy because I didn't have the right tools. It seems that metal models have come a long way, I found this model to be well laid out and clearly labeled. I was also impressed with the paint that they were able to put on some of the parts, giving some nice accents to the piece. The directions were clear enough, but you do need to read all of the prerequisite parts at the beginning. I didn't know that they labeled in their diagrams exactly which side should be up when building until maybe the third step. With a snipper, removing the parts were fairly simple -- although my snipper was a little too big for some of the tabs. using the folding tool included with my toolkit, I was able to fold straight lines cleanly. I also used the metal rods included in my kit to roll the curves that the directions called for. What may be frustrating for some people are the 32 gondolas that need to be built. I didn't mind it at all because this is what model building is about, right? Patience and persistence. The other difficult part was rolling the legs of the wheel. There just isn't a clean way of putting that together and I scratched some of the paint off with my pliers. In the end, I was quite satisfied with the model and had a great time with the build. This has reignited my passion for small, detailed work that I might just continue to build more models. B096DT59T7 17 Pieces Metal Puzzle Tool Set

Challenging and fun to put together
I got this for my son, who loves to tinker. He's had fun with plenty of plastic and wood kits in the past. This was the first metal puzzle he did.The whole kit is packaged in a fairly small box. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The pieces are all flat and need to be shaped to make the three dimensional London Eye. My son used his Leatherman, which worked very well for this process. Once the pieces were shaped, he assembled the attraction. It looks great, with tons of details.I'd recommend this kit for a teen or older who has patience and really enjoys projects such as this. My son found a lot of satisfaction when he completed it, and it is now on display for all of us to enjoy.

Really cool, much harder than we anticipated.
I ordered this because I thought it would be a great rainy day thing to do and the end result would be neat to put on display. The short answer is that is 100% true, however it is much more involved than anticipated. If you look at the photos of the instructions and the size of the metal parts you need to push out of the sheets, this is a multiple week and day project. I thought because it contained the word āpuzzleā in the description it would be just putting stuff together, but this is much more like a snap together model kit with pieces you have to fold together. I will update once we take the time to finish it.

It comes in flat metal pieces you have to shape it into this 3D work of Art..
I didn't know I had to disassemble each of the pieces here and bend them into shape when I got this. I was too scared to try after I got this so unless you can get a level 1, 2, 3, and maybe 4 too and try those before getting this advanced I would as this is almost the hardest level they make. Very impressed with how this looks before it is put together in these flat plates of metal with impressions. Can't wait til I can try some low levels and then get this made someday.

Takes patience but straightforward
I will be completely honest I haven't got this fairest will totally so yeah and will update with pictures when I doI am over fifty percent done though and so far it's been an enjoyable experienceThe pieces are cut out well and easy to get out and place but this is definitely the type of activity that takes a decent amount of time and patience Just like with regular jake saw puzzles this is a relaxing activity that just requires you to sit with yourself and focus on the task at hand it could even be called meditative and can be very enjoyable especially the feeling you get as you see yourself making progressEverything about this puzzle seems very good quality and well made so far and i haven't had any issues or pieces that were jagged or i couldn't remove easily which has been an issue i've had with other 3D puzzles Overall it seems like a great value to me and would make an absolutely wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys puzzles or stem activities like this and has some free time on their hands
