This pan fit under my ash door perfectly. It made cleaning the ash from the bottom of the grill much easier💗HOWEVER, I gave it to my husband for a gift in November. Our grill was out of service for a while due to the need for a new stand and gaskets. I had ordered it earlier but our equipment was delayed stocking issues with primo parts distributer.In addition we had a late hurricane and tropical storm here on the s Gulf of Mexico. Anyway, we had a big family bbq on New Years Day. My husband was excited to show off our refurbished grill and tools.My husband was demonstrating the cleaning tool and ash pan when he noticed that the handle weld was loose☹️******PLEASE READ BELOWThis tool has been petted and safely stored in our garage where we shelf all of our outdoor cooking gear. It has only been used 2 times and now it is not worth keeping. You can’t use the pan without the handle—or at least I can’t.I have rarely been so disappointed! I bought the nice heavy pan thinking that it would last a lifetime! It cost over 30$ and that’s over 10$ per use!If your looking for a quality product you might want to keep looking.I’m past the time to return this item but felt that I could warn others of defect.Another recommendation: if you have this and have not used it yet you might want to check the weld at the handle/pan and return it if your within the time frame for returns.

Could I get by without it? Sure, I did for 3 years. BUT it is perfectly sized and the job is much easier and cleaner with it. I would recommend this tool for everyone who wants the job to be easier. My nieces fight over who's turn it is to rake out the ashes! That makes it very easy for me.

This handy tool makes it so much easier to clean out my kamado grills. The metal ash pan has a lip on the end of it that easily attaches to the opening of the ash door on the bottom of the kamados, making it easy to collect all the used ash on the bottom of the grill with the ash tool. Game changing tool. Perfect addition to anyone who has a kamado grill.
