Strathwood Adirondack Chair with Cupholder, Dark Brown

Easy set up just put one peg in each side and ready to sit in. I would recommend tightening the screws as some of the other reviews indicated because right out of the box it was a little wobbly but once they were tightened they were not wobbly at all and very comfortable.

The chairs are sturdy and my only issue is that the brown color of the chair fades and is chipping / cracking already.

Somewhat surprised at the raving reviews for this chair. Its nice to look at and comfortable but my chair arrived scratched and chipped and one of the arms was VERY loose so I had to tighten this up. The packaging was good so I can only assume it went out damaged. I am not convinced as to the durability of this chair or that it will withstand the elements well, and the brown is more of a stain than a paint, therefore I immediately applied some weather-coating. If I had bought this chair in a store or paid more than I did for it I would probably have returned it. Since purchasing it a week ago the price has increased quite a bit and I don't think I will bother order another one.

I really like the stained color on this chair. I got two of them. Assembly is simple - unfold and slide in two pegs. The fold up will make it easy to store the chair in winter. I didn't give this five stars for two reasons. One of the chairs doesn't assemble easily as I had to use a mallet to tap in one of the pegs because the holes did not quite line up. The second is about how to care for the chair. In the packaging a card indicates care instructions can be found at [...]. But when I enter that in the browser it takes me directly to the Amazon site to a main page for the Strathwood products and there is no info or link on that page indicating care instruction.Update: I finally found some information under another Strathwood furniture item regarding care of their furniture..."Left untreated, eucalyptus will weather when exposed to the elements, turning a soft shade of silver/gray similar to the weathering of teak. In addition, when untreated, natural splitting or cracks will appear, but this will not affect the durability of the furniture. To guard against this weathering process and to maintain a desired look, apply coats of a hardwood oil. The frequency of necessary oil applications depends on the intensity of the outdoor elements. The furniture has already been oiled prior to packing, and it is recommended that an oil treatment be repeated at least once a year. Giving the furniture an extra treatment before exposing to rain will prolong the "new" look and ensure a longer life."

Chair is very comfortable, but there is a major flaw. The first time it rained the stain literally came off and stained the concrete under the chairs. Chairs should be pulled until a proper outdoor stain is used.

Easy to assemble (slip in two wooden pegs, thats it) and very good quality. The fact they are comfortable and already painted make them in my opinion the best value on the internet.

The chairs look great out of the box with minimal/no assembly. However, after less than a month the finish is already wearing off of the arm rests and these have rarely been used! Not impressed with this finish as it makes me wonder how long these will last.

These chairs are great. They're well -constructed and a snap to put together. Unfortunately, the paint job is poor. Mine arrived with bare wood showing through the paint. I fear that they will have to be repainted before the season is over.
