The best biltong I've tried - spicy, aromatic, perfect seasoning.
Admittedly I am not a biltong expert, but I have tried around 5 brands now and can safely say I know what traditional, good quality biltong should taste like. And this biltong is easily the best I've tried.Meat quality:The meat is premium, grass-fed Piedmontese beef. The cuts are excellent - probably around 90% lean meat with just the right amount of fat and connective tissue to give it a good mouthfeel, flavor, and chew. In all 3 bags there wasn't a single piece that was too chewy to eat. There were definitely some smaller pieces of biltong in the bag - a lot were quarter sized - but for the most part they were intact and bite-size. No real complaints there, just worth mentioning in case some people are picky about full-size slices.Seasoning:The seasoning is where this biltong really shines. Simple natural ingredients: Beef, vinegar, salt, roasted coriander, rosemary, chili powder, pepper, ground mustard, onion powder, cumin. Just reading the ingredients list makes my mouth water. You can really taste the roasted coriander and it's probably a 4/10 in terms of spiciness, just about perfect. Not too salty, very aromatic from the spices, and all the flavors come together perfectly through the slight vinegar acidity. This really is the best tasting biltong I've tried, and it's made from top quality ingredients. I just finished a full bag writing this review and it's so good I'm about to order more.

Tasty and a bit spicy
This is a very nice beef jerky. It is soft and not overly dry so it’s easier to eat, although you do have to work a little to bit pieces off. There is a slight powder coating on the outside, but not so much it bothers you. The flavor is really bold and a bit spicy but not too hot. The packs are a bit small for the price but it tastes like a quality beef jerky so I’m okay with that. Overall, they are very tasty and make great snacks to keep in your bag.

Not sweet, but a good seasoned, slightly spicy beef jerky!
This beef jerky is not as sweet as a lot of them I've had, this is more of a seasoned beef with a little spice. It's not dry and tough, it's a little moist and mostly tender. There were some tough fatty pieces in the bag, but not a lot. It's a little bit spicy, but not to the point where it's uncomfortable to eat it, and I typically don't like really spicy foods. I'd say it's more on the mild side. The bags say there's one serving per bag, but I got about three per bag just snacking.

Kinda like jerky, but not.
I received the Certified Piedmontese, Grass-Fed Beef Biltong Beef Jerky - All-Natural Air Dried Beef, Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished, Paleo, Keto, No Antibiotics or Hormones, No Sugar, Produced in the USA - Biltong Jerky Spicy Flavor (Pack of 3) in exchange for this review. We had never tried biltong before this. I kinda like it! It is a dried beef product, so it is sort of like jerky...but it is NOT jerky. Jerky is preserved using salts and nitrates in most cases (Or at least a LOT of salt) This biltong uses an acid bath (Vinegar and some salt) to preserve the meat before the drying process. This creates a more complex and flavorful dried meat. This particular biltong is rather spicy and herbaceous with a slightly "pickled" undertone from the vinegar used in the preservation process. The meat is tender and easy to chew and super thinly sliced, so you get a lot of flavor in each small satisfying nibble. I would highly recommend this as a new salty snack.

Lean, Tender Jerky that Tastes Great
Today I am reviewing this 3 pack of Certified Piedmontese Grass-Fed Beef Jerky.Overall, my first impressions of this were good after looking over the packaging and seeing that the ingredients tend to lean towards more natural stuff. The fact that this beef is grass fed is nice too, vs say, cows that are given their fill of corn. It may not sound like much, but as a former cattle farmer, I can tell you it's nowhere near as healthy as when they are grass fed. This is important because this makes for a leaner beef.As for the flavor, this jerky is a little bit on the spicy side. Not overwhelmingly hot, but you'll feel it if you eat the whole bag at once. This jerky is also super tender. I have no trouble eating it, and that says a lot considering that I have broken molars on both sides of my mouth. It is also paleo friendly if you're looking for something that fits the bill.Overall, I'd recommend it. It's a good quality lean jerky that is very easy to eat. I give it a thumbs up.

Best biltong I've tried yet!
I love jerky and eat a ton of it, including biltong. This is the best biltong I've ever had! The heat is just right. It's tender which is hard to find as biltong tends to be on the drier and tougher side due to the process used in making it. This is moist and tender. Extremely tasty and didn't last long at all before it had disappeared :).
