So impressed with the first fan that we now own 4. Really stable with a flat base so no more stubbed toes, bonus. Very smooth action, not to noisy. Really moves the air well on all three settings, even in a larger room. Quiet enough on lowest setting to keep on all through the night.

The motor housing, controls are mounting bolts (for the base, cage and fan blades) are plastic.On its highest setting, it's plenty powerful enough to move air across a large room. On its lowest setting, it's at an acceptable volume to have running while sleeping.There's a faint whistling sound that comes from the tips of the fan blades when it's running, however after a while it just becomes background noise and is barely noticeable.

Even on the lowest setting I feel like I might get blown away. It's great for downstairs but not ideal for the bedroom. It's a little bit like trying to sleep in an airport.Love the round base instead of the legs though, makes it so much sturdier.

Looks classier than a normal fan and base is sturdy. Happy with my purchase.

Relatively easy to assemble. Seems very sturdy and there is a lot of power coming off the blades when on low, will keep you cool and quite quick
