Nice book and it will come in handy going to ...
Nice book and it will come in handy going to Nassau for the 2nd time. Lots of good info, definitely. The author asks for suggestions so here goes:1) we are staying at Atlantis at the Reef Tower, and this tower is missing from the list for Atlantis Hotel Accommodations.2) maps of where all these places are would help. I have google maps on my iPhone and I was able to punch in the shops, beaches, or restaurants in the search box and it pullled up just fine. Without this, I would be lost with just the book.3) where do you go to take a boat ride? Cruises have these options; not sure how to get to Blue Lagoon if you stay on island.4) more pictures would be cool5) maybe a section on "what not to do" or places to avoidGreat book. We visited last year by cruise but did not like the 4-5 hours we had on the island so we decided to fly in this year for several days.

Useless guide
Unless you plan to visit Atlantis this guide is petty much useless. It is half full of Atlantis promo and says you have to purchase tickets to most attractions. It doesn't however tell you any prices probably because they are ridiculously expensive.

Too general.
I was hoping to get more on the historic district -what to see and a map of where things for.

I dig it. It's a short guide, but has good info.
I go to Nassau every few years and am always looking to see what's new there. With the launch of the Baha Mar Resort, there's going to be a lot more stuff opening up, and this guide gives you some good off the beaten path spots to stay. The book's a bit short, but I recommend it for putting on your phone or iPad, as it's easy to navigate to good spots to find spots to each, relax, or drink at.

Disappointed
I was disappointed in this purchase. The information provided is general and did not help with our vacation planning. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it does provide some information. A larger guide which includes all of the Bahamas would provide better information on Nassau.

Nassau specific
It wasn't easy to find a book that focuses solely on Nassau. What to do, where to shop, good places to eat, etc. AND, I learned that prices can be negotiated. That fact paid for the book!

Disappointing and Lacking Details Information
This book was truly a disappointment. As several other reviews stated, the information is superficial and sorely lacking in details. We are staying at The Cove at Atlantis which was glossed over. Also as previously stated, this information is readily available on the web and actually provides more details.

Ok quick guide.
It is not a very in depth book. Has some nice tips but a bit lacking. You can get tons more info on the net for free.

Great & easy guide book
Good guide for travellers. This is the exact style book I was looking for. Very informative but short and to the point. Guide is divided into sections which makes it easy to find what your looking for and an easy read. This arrived after our visit to Nassau however we still read the book and enjoyed it.

Like a child’s story book, aimed at young children. I will be returning it.
Very disappointed
