I don't know what the last reviewer was doing. I got the Silhouette for Mother's Day. I plugged one of the pens in and it worked great...didn't even have to wait for it to load the pen tip...worked great from the start. I used silver on black paper and it was really pretty...the silver shimmered! I didn't have any bleeding and I used just medium weight cardstock. We drew a mermaid on regular paper and it was fine as well. No bleeding as the other person suggested. Super excited about all we can do!

When I got my Silhouette I was a little hesitant to try cutting right away so I used these. WOW what fun and amazing results. Not only does it save me if I want to try a pattern for size with out wasting the blade but it looks beautiful. I can't wait to see how many wonderful things these will make.

Highly recommend the Silhouette Sketch Pens if you want to draw instead of cut with your Silhouette cutter. The colors are vibrant and they leave nice clean and crisp lines with no bleeding of the ink observed. I bought these instead of a pen holder because they align precisely in the cutter for accurate line placement on your media.

These pens only worked for the first 2 times I used them. After that they seemed like they were completely dried out. The sketches would be patchy because the ink would work in some places and not in others. Even more irritating because I would test them first on a scrap piece of paper and they write completely fine by hand, but as soon as I put them into the machine they stop writing. Very frustrating. I plan on getting the ballpoint pen holder now.

Just another fun way to use the Silhouette. I love this machine. The variety of colors in this pack is great. I do continue to think the products are a little pricey. Good quality and fun to use.

I was so excited to get these for my Cameo however after I had them I realized that I didn't actually have that much use for them and rarely used any color besides the black. I wish that somehow they could draw letters, etc. that are filled in instead of just outlines and the ink ran out sooner than expected. I just saw a Silhouette Starter kit of sketch pens that is not much more expensive and includes many more colors and multiple black pens that I think would be better.Still it is much easier than peeling and placing individual letter stickers.

These pens work so great with my silhouette to create beautiful designs without having to cut out the design. It's so useful for intricate designs to be able to have them drawn in pen

The silhouette studio store has sketch images that are meant to be drawn instead of cut and these pens do that perfectly. I have yet to draw my own images in the studio but I think it would be fun and having these pens to use in my cameo is an extra bonus.
