Q: I am using the feet leveler for a shelving unit. What is the load rating of your item?

I would think they would hold #250 as i'm useing them on bar stools.

Q: Do you offer a shorter version of this glide? I am looking for 1/2 in. to 5/8 in. length. (1/4 in.-20)

Q: Need M6- Is this suitable for outdoor patio furniture?

M6 is a pretty small bolt, I'm not sure of the weight capacity. I'd personally prefer a larger bolt thread for rugged use if some of your guests like to lean back in chairs. Moreover, the pads are hard plastic, not a more pliable rubber. I'd be concerned about the pads breaking or leaving scratch marks on a concrete or wooden surface. I think these would work much better for a stationary table than a chair which will get frequently moved. The feet are not large enough to provide a good footing on top of a rock patio. I used the m8 variant for small metal racks that hold 4 laundry baskets each for my wife. They are stationary in my laundry room. I don't particularly like the plastic feet but as I said, the racks are stationary so I won't have to worry about adjusting them or sliding them around often. I welded m8 nuts to the bottom of the legs to use adjustable feet. If I was using it for anything else, I'd use rubber feet.

they hold me and i weigh 240 lbs
