Expert craftsmanship and high quality material, couldn't be more pleased.

The tam looked well made and was indistinguishable from official academic tams at a much lower cost. Soft black velvet, good weight on the tassel, and fit perfectly on my average sized head. So glad I found this for graduation pictures during covid!

The only thing I'd change is that the tassel it came with wasn't detachable. I was able to cut it off, keeping the gold nub (the others had black and I thought this looked better), and use my university's old gold one to match.I was a broke PhD student, so I had to get a little frugal with my regalia ($150 vs $400, really). I also sewed on my own gold piping by hand. Hours later, it looked great if you didn't look at the inside!

This two-button tam fits perfectly and truly looks great. I paid for the expensive graduation robe, but I just couldn't see shelling out the $150 my university recommended for a tam. I'm so glad I bought this one. It looks excellent and fits very nicely.

My husband likes this very well! As a college trustee, he must attend several graduations each year. This product is good quality and fits him well. His head is not small. Some reviewers complained about the size, but we did not have a problem.

Does the job. It just barely fits - but my hat size is about 7 & 3/4ths.

It’s a bit tight on my head. It doesn’t fit exactly As expected but it does fit. The Velcro is visible but not too noticeable. It does the job I need much cheaper than ordering from the university. I work there and have to attend at least 2 events a year in regalia. Definitely worth the price.

It works for the graduation. The Velcro is a little annoying if you have long (or already frizzy) hair.
