I bought this product as a try out because I tried the eco styler argan oil, red cover and didnt like it too much, it was way too sticker for my hair and too crunchy. This brown eco styler, has my curls popping, i have coarse, thick low porosity hair. This eco stlyer is protien based so I was a bit hesitant to use it because they said for low porosity hair one needs to stay away from products with protien, but after i saw someone using it, and the amazing results they got, I decided to give it a try, and I am very pleased with my purchase. It does not leave any white film or flakes on my hair and does not give my hair that sticky feel before drying. It does have the crunch to it though and gives you a very firm hold, but I still love it, because my curls look great.

After watching Mahoganycurl's YouTube channel and others, I decided that I was ready to try gel. My hair has been in its natural state all my life, however, I never learned how to care for it properly. I would wash my hair with cheap nice smelling shampoo frequently (as I am very active) and would brush the sides of my hair with a boar bristle brush daily to form a boring and tight bun. Ugh! After learning more about the modified Curly Girl method and refining it using different sources, I decided that I needed a stronger hold to my curls. This product holds my curls well and having "scrunching the crunch" I do not find that my hair is hard. In fact, the curls are soft. I also use "Eco Styler Grip Styling Cream Gel (Moroccan Argan Oil) when I do not need extra protein added to my hair.

OK, I mixed on this review and want to give 5 stars, and would because this is a really nice hair product. I bought this because I like Ecoco products I have bought in the past, but I didn't want a hold 10. This was the only one that wasn't a 10 at an 8. I'm glad I got it because the hold 8 doesn't make my hair crunchy and it looks more natural.The reason why I'm at 4 stars is because it doesn't smell that great (not bad, but not great) and it's brown color sort of turns me off. I'll probably buy again though because it does work well.

I purchased this product over a year ago and it still gives me life! The product arrived on time and I instantly noticed how big the jar was. I had purchased this after constantly hearing about it in hair tutorials on YouTube. And child let me tell you that I'm glad I did. It smells so good, which shocked me. I've never had any hair gel that smells good. Furthermore, after putting it on edges and tying them down with a silk scarf for twenty minutes, my edges were laid. It doesn't make my edges feel hard or feel flaky. And even after a year, I still have a grand amount left. It's just simply amazing!

This hair gel does not weigh your hair down and is not sticky. Also, it keeps your hair in place without getting hard. Our family loves it!

Thank god I was able to get it again. This product is hard to find in a beauty supply store or any other store. I like this product because it helps coverig gray hair and makes my hair looks natural.

This product is wonderful! It smells delightful, nice amber color. It is a number 8 for strong hold. I thought I used this in the past for finger waves and got a strong solid hold. But I question if this is strong enough for that. Great price. Sometimes hard to find in stores. So much easier to get it off Amazon. Quick delivery. Great for curly-q edges and designs.

Soy chico, con el pelo corto pero con tendencias anti gravitatorias. Con este gel permanece en su sitio sin dar sensación de dureza ni apelmazamiento, de hecho prácticamente no se nota que se ha puesto. No deja residuos. Lo único es que es de un color marronoso no especialmente atractivo.
