School Days: Cartoons from the New Yorker

A must for any collector of New Yorker cartoons. Much to recommend dealer. A+

this is a great little book. great quality. it has a paper cover, high quality hardbacked book. i used them for teacher gifts.

Good. Was surprised by the unusual 6" page size. A couple of the cartoons are very hard to read due to the small page size. IMO, the "New Yorker Book of Teacher Cartoons" is funnier.

I only wish this book was longer.

SCHOOL DAYS is a collection of school-related cartoons selected from issues of THE NEW YORKER. The cartoons go from pre-school through college and unlike many cartoons that appear in the magazine, most of these are actually funny and make sense. A total of 35 artists are featured. I think my favorite is the one featured on p. 63 by Leo Cullum. It features the Pied Piper with a single thought bubble thinking, "Four Years at Julliard for This? SCHOOL DAYS makes a nice gift for any teacher or anyone who enjoys cartoons from THE NEW YORKER. I'm a fan of both and I loved it.

This book is smaller in size than I thought it would be. I gave it to my principal for a holiday gift. He liked it.
