These work great and i needed this type of tool for years. Very useful when doing brake jobs or when any type of vacuum draw is necessary.

Makes bleeding brakes an easy, one-person job
I bought this item to flush my old brake fluid and replace it with new fluid while replacing all four calipers on my 2013 Toyota Sequoia. It really makes brake fluid replacement and brake bleeding an easy, one-person job, and it works well. I gave it 4 stars because there are a number of small issues that others have pointed out:1) Even though it comes with an assortment of rubber adapters to fit the bleed valves, it still sucks a little bit of air into the hose when bleeding brakes. I found that if you push the rubber adapter onto the bleeder valve as you are bleeding the brakes it helps prevent air from getting into the line but it still isn't perfect. It still works, but it is hard to tell if you have any air in the line as there air air bubbles in the drain hose.2) According to the manual, this needs an air compressor capable of 70-170 psi and at least 4.3 cfm. This is bigger than most recreational mechanics have and bigger demand than a pancake compressor. I have an 8 gallon, 150 psi, 3.4 cfm air compressor. It got the job done but I had to keep stopping the process multiple times to let my air tank refill. One HUGE plus is the refill tank that comes with the kit!!! It made it very easy to bleeding all the lines without worrying about emptying out the brake fluid reservoir. Just suck out the old fluid from the reservoir, refill it, then fill the refill tank and mount it with the spout in your reservoir. As you bleed the lines, the refill bottle will keep the reservoir at the appropriate level so you don't hVe to worry about draining the reservoir and getting air in your lines.

Checks good
Worked as advertised for the first brake job. Much easier than hand bleeding.

Works for liquids as well, like coolant in thread holes on your block.
Works well for other purposes, e.g. sucking coolant from head bolt threads on the block prior to reassembly. I actually use it more for that type of thing than I have for doing brake bleeding. That said, it produces decent suction with high air flow from your compressor. May not provide enough suction if your car has an ABS module though, so consider that you may have to still do manual brake bleeding.

Happy I Made the Purchase
I had three vehicles to flush/exchange tbe brake fluid. Normally, I use a hand vacuum pump. They have the small resivors to collect fluid. Bilitools capacity - 3 liters. I didn’t dump it until all vehicles were done. Also included is a filler bottle that attaches to the vehicle’s brake fluid tank above the master cylinder.Ball valves control the pressurized airflow into the large waste tank. It’s full swing is 1/4 turn. About 1/8 turn provides plenty of vacuum. Attach the hose to the brake bleeder vave, twist the valve 1/8 turn to start the vacuum, loosen the brake bleeder and watch the old fluid get effortlessly removed. The hose the fluid goes through is super flexible, but does not collapse with vacuum. It’s not crystal clear, but it’s quite easy to see when the new fluid begins to come out.The bottle that attaches to the brake fluid tank holds a liter of fluid. I found it’s more the sufficient to suppy new fluid without using it all. Your will need to determine if it’s enough for yours. The bottle is supplied with a 1/4 turn ball valve to allow the fluid to flow. It also has a clamp to hold the bottle in your brake fluid tank. The neck of the bottle should extend below the fluid in the tank. Open the bottle. The fluid will fill to the level of the neck.If I had been diligent and wore the nitrile gloves all the time, I wouldn’t have had to wash my hands. I didn’t spill any brake fluid (old or new) and got maybe a drop on my fingers.Emptying the waste fluid was easy. There a non threaded removable cap/stopper.Also notable is how well the top to the waste resivor tank is made. It extends down the side to ensure a good seal, it’s held on by 10 or 12 screws. There’s no needto remove it. My opinion is it’s a better desgn than just a flat top. It comes with a lot of adapters for fittIng onto the bleeder valves. I only needed one. It’s easy to get all the fluid out of the line by holding your finger on adapter and letting it build up vacuum and removing your finger.I plan to send one of these to my brother for his birthday.

Bleeding brakes on my 2004 Polaris sportsman 600
I bled and bled and bled my rear brakes on my Polaris sportsman manually to no avail. This vacuum bleeder took the air out seconds after I hooked it up. Great tool.

Great tool. Easy to use, but...
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like the build quality. Feels solid. Did my first brake flush yesterday and it worked. Pretty easy.Gripes: when suctioning out from the bleeder nipple on the caliper it must be sucking air somewhere. Next time I will try to take off the black coupling that is supposed to go on the nipple, and stick the tupe directly on the nipple to see if it is better. Really would like to see a solid stream instead ofma treat laced with bubbles. Otherwise, how would you know that you have removed all air bubbles?
