Number Talks: Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages Product Bundle – November 4, 2016

I got this book for my grad class and I actually believe I will use it in tbe classroom. That's not often the case. I like the number strands and the videos of examples were very instructional.

This is an informative book that delves into key concepts focused around fractions, decimals, and percentages. I would've liked it if the author included the teacher's notes in the appendix section like she included in the Number Talks Whole Numbers book; I find that useful as it further explains the number talks viewed in the video.

IF you are a teacher and you read the original number talks and wished that there was one for fractions, now you have it! It is well organized, just like the original one.

Been reading a great deal about number talks. This book is excellent, yet for the price, I would have appreciated being able to print out the reproducibles without having to spend an additional $30.

This book is so great to help you incorporate math talk in your classroom. Since I have been using it my students are getting a better understanding of fractions and decimals.

The information in this book is backed by research, and very hands on. It will be a tremendous help in moving my students forward.

Good book. Too bad the supplementary materials are sold separately.

Been using this in my classroom with my grade 6-8 students! They love it! Fully engaged and discussing math! Can’t get any better than that!!

Number talks are excellent for developing number sense. Highly recommend.
