Hunza Organic Garbanzo Beans/Chickpeas (5 lbs)

Ordered the 5 LBS package. Arrived quickly, most beans whole and in good condition. Soaked a few cups overnight. Boiled(soft) for 90 minutes, drained made into hummus, sans tahini(don’t like the expensive stuff). It turned out excellent tasting, both Son and Son-In-Law, said it was the best they ever tasted. Grandkids ate it with gusto. I’m not a huge hummus fan, but found an easy, excellent recipe and will now be adding this to my menu.

It is very possible that these garbanzos are the best I’ve ever had (& I have eaten many a chickpea in my life). I didn’t even have to discard any of them before soaking because there literally wasn’t even one of them that was not absolutely perfect. Mixed with some top-quality Tahini they made the best hummus I’ve ever had. And they’re grown organically/sustainably to boot! I will never buy a mediocre garbanzo bean again!

These chickpeas were great. Very creamy and made delicious hummus. Packaging looked sub par but the chickpeas looked and cooked perfect.

I soaked these overnight to use for making falafel. They plumped up nicely and made for delicious fried falafel. Looking forward to making hummus with them, too!

Cook well. Good flavor.

I bought garbanzo beans to make miso paste, hummus and soup. Comparing to other brand, Hunza's garbanzo tasted very good and the color after I boiled was sooooo beautiful. I can tell it is a good quality and beans are very fresh. I did not get any bugs when I washed the beans. Thank you very much. I will place an order again.

I have cooked one batch of these and they are delicious.
