It's a mallet! Yes, folks, it's a beater on a stick. Nice & durable. The grip feels nice. Goes through the dishwasher just fine. It's pretty big, and it's definitely got some heft to it--perfect for recalcitrant chickens. The texture on the tenderizer side is not too spiky, not too dull. The smooth side is great for beating crackers into crumbs.

This Meat Tenderizer is perfect. I quit cooking chicken breast for a bit because I couldn’t get them tender enough. This did the trick, we are back to cooking and eating chicken breast again. It is well made, nice weight and easy to clean.
