I bought the 26” pot as a risky experiment. We have a seasonal home and last year hired people to come and water my pots while we were away. I came back and I had pots with dead plants. I justified spending the money on the big pot because it was cheaper to buy the self watering pot than to pay someone to do it, and still not be enough, water. We are gone 2-3 weeks at a time so I wanted a bigger reservoir to hold more water, and it seems to be enough. Plants are growing and looking awesome! Rain drops work, easy to fill. These pots are fantastic! Will be buying another one!

I have the 16” and 20” self watering pots. The temps in Utah summers range between 80’s to 100”s. Not sure the small 16” pot is worth the money. The 16”pot needs to be filled every 3 days in upper 90’s. The 20” pot will go about 7 days. I plan to buy two more in the spring and will purchase the larger pots for sure. The indicator makes it easy to see if you need to refill!

Do not buy this pot. I have had it for 18 months. The first year, the water level indicators were stuck. They told me to turn it the whole pot upside down. That worked and last year they seemed to float up with the added water. Then this year, with the old dirt still in the pot, when I went to fill it, the water ran right out the bottom of the pot out the "overflow" hole. I got a new plug for the "overflow" hole., and inserted it into its opening on the bottom of the pot. I tried to fill it, thinking that the water level indicators would rise up. They did not. This pot is a bust, and a rip off. Don't buy it.
