Excellent manual for those diving into the English Shipping Law. Coming from the continental Civil Law system, where we base our reasoning merely on batches of articles, I very much enjoyed the numerous cases illustrating each topic. Comparison with the Hague/Visby Rules is drawn where relevant.

Excellent book for its subject. Would recommend for LLB or LLM students studying the area.

I would recommend this book to all people interested in maritime law, mainly in maritime transport. It should be noted that this edition was published in 2010, therefore you will have the latest news on the maritime field. For instance: bills of lading under the Rotterdam Rules.Fernando Palomino.
