Purchased this camera to test its functionality prior to making a huge investment in upgrading my 6 camera system. Per the vendors website, they indicate this camera can do true color at night. This is only the case in certain circumstances if there is enough light in the surrounding area where the camera is placed (i.e. a street light in front). The vendors support portal makes it extremely difficult to locate any downloadable firmware/software for this camera. I spent a few hours looking online and gave up.Now while the first two items I mentioned could be a deal breaker for most, the video quality of the camera is pretty good for other camera's in the same class.The reason I am giving this three stars is due to the misleading description of features on the vendors website (not amazons) as well as the difficultly to locate updated firmware for the unit.

Purchased one of these to add to existing system and received one clearly marked refurbished and not new. No where did it say that it was a refurbished product.

These cameras (Sold by OnPoint Surveillance) are refurbished, not new. Product description should say this. Otherwise, they work fine and I'm ok with saving money on refurbished products.2018-12-08 Update, OnPoint Surveillance assured me these were mislabeled and were in fact new. Installed yesterday and they work as expected.

Camera worked for about 10 days and the connector blew.I purchased as "New" but it was a Refurbished camera (label on the box).Returned it.

We currently have 25 of these 4K security cameras operating on our system. We are very happy with the color and the amazing 4K detail. These cameras do see quite well into dusk. Though we do get some weird colors at sunset just before the cameras switch to B&W. Night vision is limited to approximately 30 feet -- the range of the infra-red lighting. Overall, we like them, and will buy again.Unfortunately, they are not perfect. We have had 2 fail for unexplained electronic reasons, and 3 because rain got into the camera's ethernet connector. It turns out that the 'waterproof' connector on the camera is not as waterproof as intended. So it's important to shield the connector from water with RESCUE tape, or other means. That said, Lorex has replaced all our defective cameras.

REFURBISHED product and not sold as such. n There is nothing on this description that states that this camera is a refurb.Camera itself is fine i love Lorex products just unhappy i was not told it was refurbished product. Price is too good to be true.

This 4k cam gives incredible video and shapshots.

Same as 1080p.
