Cat doesn’t get nose in water stream.
The media could not be loaded. This is PURRFECT! My cat absolutely LOVES running water, he’ll chase you to the bathroom just so you turn the sink on. However… he has a tendency to put his nose in the stream of water which results in him inhaling some and occasionally coughing. Which constantly freaked me out. I’ve had many different fountains and with all of them he still manages to get his nose in the water stream. But this one has been an absolute game changer. Not once has he got water in his nose or coughed within the week of using it, this water fountain has eased so much of my anxiety. The only issue I’d have with it, is that it’s plastic. But as long as you stay on track with cleaning…bacteria shouldn’t become an issue. 10/10 recommended!!

Won’t shock your pets
I had a different kind of fountain a while back but then I found out that they can shock your pets if they’re not wireless. This one sits on a base that powers it but it doesn’t charge it. As long as it’s sitting on the base it can connect with the motor inside and it runs and when you lift it off the base it disconnects and stops running. My pets love it and they act like they don’t know how to drink water anymore if it runs out of water and powers off!

The easiest to clean (with a suggestion)
Quick version:- Super easy to clean, but make sure you check this spot under the lid (photo)- Easy to assemble, helpful guides included- Very quiet operation, light makes it easy for older cats to see and for the owner to see the water level- Bonus: design makes it easy to fill (slowly) without taking apart, and is less likely to cause spillsLong version: I should probably mention that I procrastinate cleaning as much as possible, especially when the cleaning involves a bunch of small spaces that require several tools. I have been through many cat water bowls over the years and have accumulated brushes of various sizes to clean with, and even then, there's always a spot I just can't get to or a corner that will remain yucky no matter what.I purchased this model for the tank and pump design. I love that there's no cord attached to the pump! I can just pick the bowl up and clean it without dealing with the cord or any weird hidey-holes (and don't even get me started on the suction cups). I clean this bowl and pump every week or two (at the very least *rinse* the bowl & filter 1/wk), and it takes me 5-10 minutes. Not to sound dramatic, but this design is life-changing.We have 2 cats that use this exclusively, and the tank refill after cleaning usually lasts about a week or more. I have seen it continue to work well beyond the minimum fill line, and haven't noticed any shutoff feature when the level gets very low (except for when the water is literally too low to even flow through the pump). Even when the water is low, this remains the QUIETEST fountain I've ever had. Not a huge deal for us, but I know many cats are skittish when their water is screaming and sputtering at them. The lid is also angled in such a way that makes it less likely to cause spills and splashes (your wood floors will thank you), and you can refill the bowl easily without taking the entire thing apart (just pour slowly). There are a couple guides provided (with pictures and words!) that describe assembly. I do think it could explain better how the filter is supposed to be placed ("put the filter inside and think highly of its direction"??), but you can still figure it out using the pictures. The ONLY issue that I can say I have with this product is the small part under the lid, as seen in my photo. This area is not meant to separate and isn't touched by cleaning like all the other pieces, but it still collects enough grime under it that could be a potential health hazard if not taken care of. With that being said, this was easy enough to pop off (I used a spoon) to clean out thoroughly, and just as easy to snap back into place. So if you get this model, I highly advise you to consider this spot when cleaning. And I want to give the suggestion to the seller to possibly work that into any upgraded future models.Overall I'm so very happy with this and intend to recommend it to all of my friends/family with cats.

Worked great until it overheated and melted the power cable
I liked this fountain. I purchased it after my fountain of 5-years finally died. It wasn’t as annoying to clean as my last one and the wireless feature (which I didn’t realize when I bought it) was nice, since I could take the reservoir to clean/refill and not have wires dragging along with me.That being said, I owned this fountain for about a year with no issues. The fountain sits on a charging “plate” which is powered via a USB cable that then plugs into the outlet. The charging plate is supposed to automatically turn off when the reservoir is removed or when water hits below a certain level. The light will change from an aqua blue to a dark blue as a signal. My dog and cat play around this fountain, causing it to slide across the floor sometimes (it’s on a rubber mat for water spills). Somehow, they knocked it askew from the plate (but not entirely off it) so that the fountain stopped circulating water (and the dark blue light was on) but the battery in the plate must’ve kept running. It overheated and began to melt the USB. I only noticed it when I went to fix the reservoir back into place and it didn’t immediately turn on again. The charging plate was super hot to the touch, and obviously the USB cable was black and melted (see photo). I immediately unplugged everything and tossed it and will not repurchase. This was maybe a perfect storm of events, but I also cannot imagine what would’ve happened if this happened when I wasn’t home (the fountain is in my office and it must’ve only been about 30 minutes since I sat down to when I turned around and saw the fountain had been moved). I would caution anyone against buying this product.

This has been a wonderful fountain!
I love the look and design of this fountain. The base with removable water basin is a godsend - so much easier to clean than wired fountains. Plus, it holds a lot of water; it lasts my cat about 2 weeks.I purchased this in January 2023 and as of December 2024 the pump has completely died - it's no longer functional. However, I feel that I more than got my money's worth - that's almost 2 years of continuous flowing water for my cat! Not sure if I'll just buy another one of these or look for something else, but I can vouch for its longevity.
