such a great intro into digital forensics and mobile forensics. Appreciate the author talking about the theory and how to think as an investigator but in an easy read. Like if we were having coffee together.This book is only slightly dated but that’s the theme with this type of reading material, It comes with the territory of the industry it changes fast, you have to keep a pulse on it by looking up the latest capabilities. The book talks more on this!I’d read another by this author easily.

Great Forensic Information

I am a 20 years law enforcement computer forensic agent and I found this book to be very comprehensive and detail. What I like the most about this book is that the author throughout the book refers to Cellebrite and Magnet Axiom. He provides examples utilizing these two platforms, which are two of the most important ones on the market.I rate this book 4.5 star because it exceeded my expectations. I would strongly recommend this book to other forensic investigators.One recommendation to the author is that the book should have dedicated a more extensive and profound discussion to the topic of recovering deleted records from databases because they are one of the most important aspects of cellphone forensics.
