Alegria Women's Alli Flat

After finding that several brands of shoes I used to wear were now painful, I spotted some of the reviews for Allegria here from people on their feet all day. Before I tried any, I contacted Allegria with my foot issues, They named 4 styles that had a rocker bottom and also a front rocker since that is the worst of my pain. Then I just kept watching for this style on Amazon since it was a slip on. Since color was not an issue, within 3 weeks Amazon had them in my size. Glad I jumped on it as they were gone in 30 minutes. Thanks to the wide toe box and narrow heel, I can wear an 8B where I need 8 1/2 C in other shoes.The straps have some give so they don't bother my high instep, another +. The rocker bottom lets my toes splay and relax. I did have to wear them for short periods at first so that the adaptive insole could shape itself. Now they feel better and better. I have a lot of walking on concrete this Sunday so that will be the ultimate test.Very greatful for everyone;s reviews. Summer is much less painful now. I will be getting more of these.

I have 5 pair of Alegria shoes, They make my hips and back not hurt.. A good place to see them is at the company web site. I have found that shoe sizes per different models of shoes can vary. I needed this shoe to be a bit larger because I broke a toe and I needed a bit more room. They also have more space in general for my toes. Anyway I wear them for work, I double up on socks for this shoe, for my others I do not do that..I have found that they can take a bit to get use to but it is well worth it. Because of the leather inserts socks can bunch up but, I have found that they seem to work themselves out after I have the shoe on for a while.I started out with open toed saddles from Alegria (i bought them from a scrubs nursing outfit store) I had to use tape to cover the rubbing areas where I got blisters but after about two weeks of wearing them ( a few hours a day) the leather loosened up and I was able to wear them longer and take the tape off. Again they are great! Works well for me and correcting my posture. they just take a bit of getting use to.

I bought these for my wife for work. My wife is a Hair-Dresser and she spends all day standing. I spent a lot of time researching shoes that she could wear comfortably all day. These did not disappoint. My wife would constantly complain about her feet hurting with other shoes. She has had the Alegrias' since X-mas and wears them for work almost daily. Not one complaint about her feet hurting. She LOVES them and as a bonus has had a constant stream of compliments on the look. My wife wears a US size 9 with feet a tad on the narrow size. The EU 39 med. (M) fits her perfectly. I now have a "go to" present, when I need gift Ideas.

I have been wearing these shoes for a week now and I’m very pleased with them. I have another pair of Alegria shoes that I liked, but the top of the shoe rubbed the arch on the top of my foot because of where the shoe hit the top of my foot so I can’t wear them for long. I have been wearing Danskos but didn’t like when I needed to move quickly they were so lose and didn’t feel secure on my feet. I’m glad I got these. They have Velcro on the side to allow for a little adjustment on the tightness of the shoe (not a lot but still enough).

Shoes are a difficult purchase to make, especially through the internet. With the first pair I compared the sizing to my Danskos, but these run smaller in my opinion. So I returned the first pair and ordered one size larger. They are vey comfortable and I get compliments on them often. I am a nurse who is on her feet for 12 hrs a day. These shoes remain comfy for about 8-9 hrs, then they start to rub on the tops of my toes. Everyone's feet are different though. The reason I gave the shoes only four stars is the shoes are getting scuffed up (too soon in my opinion). I am admittedly hard on my shoes due to my line of work, but I have another brand of work-shoe that seems to hold up a little better when it comes to scuff marks. Don't let this deter you though, if you wear them at a job that is easier than what I described I think you will be pleased with their comfort.

I was recommended to try these shoes and I am so happy I ordered them. I was looking for a shoe that could compliment my walking cast without being too much (or too little) in heel height difference between the shoe and cast. It was almost a perfect match heightwise (which is a huge deal if you have to ever wear a foot cast). They seem to be very well made, plenty of room in the toebox, and the insole that comes with in this shoe is super comfortable. Definitely would order them again!

I wear size 6 or 6.5, and these in size 6 fit me very well. I like how narrow they are at the ankle to provide good support, but widen at the toes. Usually wide shoes give me no support and make my feet tingle, but these are great.I wear them at work when I have to do lots of walking and standing on concrete, and they feel nice. Pretty light, well balanced, well shaped sole.I only wish they were a tad narrower at toes. I don't have narrow feet, and they feel fine, but look quite like gnome shoes. I still prefer them over Danskos.

i have a few of the alegria brand shoes - love them. when i find them on sale, i like to buy them as they are a pricey brand. this shoe did not work for me, as i could not get my feet in them. it was most odd. not sure if there is a flaw? the top of the shoe comes way back toward the ankle, and there is not a release to open the shoe wider to put your foot in them... you need to wiggle, and then slide the foot into the shoe - that never worked for me - i was very sad as i wanted these shoes to fit for my restaurant and hotel jobs...
