QNR 1/4 inch Knotrite Nylon Rope - 500 Foot Spool | 100% Nylon - Solid Braid - Dyeable - Industrial Grade - High UV and Abrasion Resistance

I don’t write reviews often, but this product warrants a very positive review for the following reasons:1. It is 100% nylon. Other so called “nylon” ropes are actually a lower quality nylon “blend.”2. It is braided. Not only does braided rope feel much better and softer in your hands, but braided rope is stronger.3. It comes spoiled on a heavy duty plastic wheel. Other ropes that I had previously purchased came “loose” in a plastic bag, which allowed for tangles to happen much more easily, especially in longer piece like 500’. Other ropes sometimes come on wooden spools, which is much better than no spool at all, but I have received wooden spools that were cracked on the sides during shipping, which can cause abrasion on the rope when you are unspooling it. This heavy duty plastic spool seems to be less susceptible to damage, and it is also water resistant in case you can repurpose it for that reason.4. The price is unbelievably low. Other 100% nylon Braided lines in 500’ sections cost around $100. It is difficult to believe that amazon is selling this rope for half that price.

Bought this for practicing knot tying and a knot display board I'm going to make. I work at a wilderness school and have fun teaching knots/lashings to the kids. This rope has a good weight and feel to it, not your over the counter loose braided poly rope you find for $1-$5 at many stores. Solid, would buy again, haven't checked total length, and I'll try to update once the knot board is done. Also, USA made, and for a better price than most others I've seen, less than $0.10/foot when I purchased.In pics, knots in order from the top are, Alpine butterfly, figure 9, figure 8, and overhand.

I love the look and feel of this soft, white nylon rope. It is fantastic to use for bondage. It knots well and it is very soft and comfortable on the skin.

This is the second 500’ spool I have purchased. We have 2 story outdoor drapes for the back of our house and this rope is holding up really well. We also braided 3 strands together for a rope swing, used it to hoist stuff in the garage etc. Just good for many tasks rope.

Well constructed and strong

I used this for pulling new power cables for a 400 Amp service through 400 feet of conduit. Initially, thought it was a bit small but it worked fine.

I have always liked this type of braided nylon rope. So easy to tie knots with this - much better than the 3-strand twisted rope.Compared to other braided nylon rope, it looks just a bit different - maybe a fatter braid or something? Anyway, don't let it concern you, because it is very good rope for my boat, awnings, tie-up on the utility trailer, etc. Good value for the money.

This rope is excellent for tying knots.
