Fit perfectly. I kept injuring my head on the low ceiling in the crawl space underneath my house. The hard hat solved the problem. No more cuts, bruises, lumps or bumps.

I've been in construction for over 20 years and most of the affordable hardhats I've really liked have been 3m. they are priced rite and overall quite comfortable and it seems like 3m is consistently making small improvements to them. this new suspension system is a good example of that and their ability to think outside the box.this is currently the most comfortable suspension I have had on my head. this design keeps the tension at the forehead and at the base of the skull and it feels like I don't need as much tension for it to stay put. while the ratchet strap is the same as previous models, the forehead pad is very different. instead of the typical rigid plastic strap there is a bunch of small basically spring loaded pads that conform to the shape of your forehead and it practically eliminates the possibility of a hotspot. the old style can can sometime put too much pressure in a concentrated line across your forehead and after a while you have to shift the hat or remove it to alleviate the discomfort. with this design I only have to move it if I need to wipe sweat away or something, not because it's uncomfortable.the new suspension is also backward compatible with the older model hats, so if like me and have your name or some stickers on the one you use regularly, you can upgrade the suspension instead of replacing the whole hat. I'm definitely getting more of these suspensions for my other hardhats.overall I'm very pleased with it and cant really find anything negative to say about the hat.I do want to mention the first hat I received had the suspension missing from the bag. the bag it came in had no evidence of ever being sealed so it likely just fell out. I called amazon and as usual they promptly made it right by sending a new hat. this hat also arrived in an unsealed bag but it still had the suspension with it. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but there are likely a lot of them in the warehouse with missing suspensions.

When it came in pieces I was a little intimidated but once I figured out how to put the insert together it wasn’t bad…. I probably just didn’t read the whole description so not bad considering. As far as I can tell does it’s job, my husband hit the hard hat while on my head and it didn’t hurt so I’m assuming that’s good 😂

Very slick looking, I’m a stagehand n me and my bf bought matching ones, we are the only ones at work with black hard hats so far, lots of compliments, love it . Put dark outlined Pokémon stickers on mine

The suspension system that comes with the hard hat just doesn’t fit at all. Tried YouTube tutorials and everything. Instructions were totally worthless. It’s a construction helmet. It shouldn’t be frustrating and time consuming to put in a suspension system and get to work.

Great hard hat ,this is my second one. it does the job and it's light not bulky like a lot of hard hats out there. Has all the ratings you need to be on a construction site.

This is a great value helmet. A little confusing to snap the pieces in, and it does lack a chin strap, but the adjuster knob is great and there is a tab at the back that will indicate when it's time to replace. Overall, recommended.

Quick delivery, but took a while to figure out how to put the suspension bands in, guess that's why I am in construction.
