My 11 year old son and 9 year old daughter absolutely loved this book. The plot was excellent and it's really well written and illustrated.

My 10 year old daughyer loves the adventures in the book. She couldn't put it down and talks about what has happened all the time. She hopes there is a sequel to this story. We love all things Peanut Jones. Rob Biddulph thank you for motivating and inspiring our young readers ❤️

This book started brilliantly and had us all gripped instantly! It is so well written and so fun, imaginative and clever! We all loved it; from our 5yo and 9yo to us oldies! It had the same witty writing style as Rob’s picture books. We CANNOT wait for number two….

My 7 year old could not put it down - he loved the gripping storyline as well as the illustrations throughout the book. Didn’t hear a peep from him whilst he read it. He is now desperately waiting for the sequel!A triumph

By Annabelle age 9I love that it starts as a mystery, and then they go on an adventure. I love the note at the end, and that you left it on a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for The Twelve Portals.

My 10yo bookworm devoured it. She loved the characters and still talks about them and the funny bits a couple of months later. The plot was original and exciting. Bought another for best friend’s b’day so would wholeheartedly recommend.

Another fabulous book from the amazing Rob Biddulph. He got us through lockdown with his drawings and my son (8) absolutely loves him, he has all of his drawing books and has flown through this one :)

My daughter loved this book. It really captured her imagination and she couldn’t stop talking about it for days. Can’t wait for the next one to come out!
