Review: Beautiful text and Illustrations! - This was part of a baptism gift for my neice, but I sat my three children ages 3, 7, and 9 down and read it to them before wrapping it because it says what every Christian parent wants their children to know. 1. God loves you. 2. Your parents love you and always will. That said, it does it MUCH more eloquently. My niece is adopted and this book works beautifully for her. There is on page that talks about "the first time that I held you in my arms," that may seem out of place for children adopted when they are no longer infants. I think that this book would be a beautiful gift for adopted parents, even birth parents without custody, or foster parents to give to their children. Review: BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN!!!! THIS BOOK MADE ME TEAR AND WARM MY SOUL! - I stumbled onto this book volunteering at my kids Scholatic Book Fair. Don’t judge me, BUT! I just couldn’t see myself buy the thin paperback version they sold for $16.99 one! I wanted 2! No way did I plan to play almost $40 for 2 books. I almost did! But something told me CHECK desertcart! And I’m glad I did as the board book was almost $9 one! For any parent who’s a believer in Christ and is always listening to their child ask you questions about how much do you really love them and if they were meant to be, this book will close that hole in their heart! ❤️

Finally, something age appropriate!
Trying to explain/begin to introduce the concept of God to a toddler is daunting, and most books on the subject supposedly designed for young kids are either confusing or terrifying. (E.g: a different kids bible stories app we recently dl'ed that literally started, "people were so naughty that God was sorry he'd made people in the first place, so he decided to wash everyone on earth away in a giant flood." WOW.) THIS book refreshingly covers the important touchpoints of faith and God in an age-appropriate yet spiritually sound way. It's warm and emphasizes familial love and God caring so much for them, and creating them uniquely (while also deftly explaining mom and dad's earthly role in the physical carrying/delivering/caring) and also does a good job sort of covering (again in age-appropriate metaphors) the difference between heaven and earth, etc. This is a great bedtime read.

Best children’s book ever! ( and I’m old, so I’ve read a lot of them!)
This story tell a child that God made them very special and unique, that you will always love them, be there for them, and that eventually we will be together with God in Heaven. This makes a great shower or first birthday gift. I’ve given it to children when they have lost a sibling. It has a simple loving message that every child should know before they experience the loss of a loved one. I hope that every child could look at the love we have for them and that God has created for them in the same way that this story is beautifully written.

This book has all my heart!
Oh man... my mom and dad bought this boos when I was a child, and I have such good memories about it. Every page, every drawing makes me travel through the time and feel so loved! I made sure to have it so I can remember these good moments and can also show my future kids!

LOVE the powerful words of affirmation!!! Read slowly and look into the eyes of your child. Making memories!
An introduction on how God made you! Thre are affirmations for our children/grandchildren on how much God loves them. I love the conversations that the parent his with the child. Sometimes we forget how powerful and soul-growing our words have on our children. Wonderful reminders on how our actions and words give comfort and confidence through all their life adventures. I LOVE that it shares a joyous picture of our Heaven Home. LOVE everything Max Lucado writes. YES, another HAVE-TO buy book. It's one of those books that you want to read slowly and look into the eyes of your precious one - make these moments live in their hearts and minds forever.

Stimulating Read
Great to read to your child. Reassuring and offers glimpse into bigger picture of a relationship with God. Stimulating to parents to aim for what is written it terms of being available for your child in all circumstances and trying to cultivate trust and openness between you.

All the different ways of saying 'I love you'
Max Lucado has this wonderful gift of being able to show in simple terms, and by way of a story, something of what we believe God is like. So the story is charming, and we realise - as does any child who hears it - that this is the way that things really are: we are beloved, and God longs for our company. Reassuring images of loving and being loved.

Just wonderful. I highly recommend
Just wonderful. I highly recommend. Can be enjoyed by children young and older. Touches even the heart of my almost 9 year old every time. My 2 year old loves to describe what's going on in the illustrations and she says 'God..' repeatedly as she pretends to read it herself.
