These Spectrum books are excellent for homeschooling!
These Spectrum books are excellent for homeschooling and as a refresher for your student. My grandson is doing so well with them all and is enjoying learning. Highly recommend!

Incredible
This book is incredible and beneficial, especially for homeschoolers or kids who may need a little extra help outside of the classroom. Easy to follow, answer key provided, and helpful tips on the lesson pages.

Excellent and Fun!
The pages contain creative ways to learn vocabulary with puzzles and games. A more fun way to jump into school work.

Good basic vocabulary
I wouldn't call this an exhaustive vocabulary curriculum, I was disappointed when I received it. To my surprise, there were words my son didn't know and the test prep in the back is handy for a homeschooler who has to take standardized tests periodically but may not be used to it. I revised my decision and think some families could definitely find this useful. While I would definitely supplement this program, I feel it is a fair value for content. Good for prep or review.

Rigorous and well done
This workbook makes homeschooling so much simpler because it provides open-and-go practice. There aren’t lessons per se, but plenty of drills for reviewing what’s been learned. This does seem a bit advanced for 4th grade but can be completed with a little adult assistance.

Just what we need to get our little ready for 4th grade.
Just what we need to get our little ready for 4th grade. We started using Spectrum when our little one was in 2nd grade. They work just fine and fit right in to our curriculum.

My 7 year old finds this book quite easy
I have not found anything very difficult for my 7 year old to do in this book. She is halfway through and always chooses to start with this book. Graphics are good and keeps her attention. I don't think it follows the reading spectrum book as that one is asking about idiom questions and the vocabulary is not teaching idiom or at least she has not reached that point? We are using these for a jump start on 3rd grade work and she asks about items if she does not know about it.

Teaching kids to remember the words over and over until they remember.
It’s good for kids who hates studying and remembering words. Hope there’s a more thicker version of the book.
