Holds Heavy Gear on Rack
I got a couple sets of these rack rail "shelves" to hold some heavy rack-mounted servers for which I cannot find rails or ears. These rails are little L-shaped edges that slip a couple inches of steel beneath the front bit whatever you want to hold. If the gear doesn't span the width of your rack, these are not the solution! They have front and rear mounts, and screws to tighten midway making it a sturdy, if thin, shelf. I first mounted my 50lb 1U, and it sat nicely within. I then mounted my 85lb beastly 4U and it similarly just sat there. There aren't any convenient stops or places along the sides or bottoms to prevent the gear from being moved, accidentally or on purpose, once on the shelf, but once the equipment was installed, there wasn't much chance of it flying off either end when aligned with other gear that is secured to the rack. I put rubber feet on the shelf under the 1U to give it a little more friction, which in the end worked, but seemed unnecessary. As they're independent, it takes a little more care to make sure they're vertically aligned. There isn't anything preventing one from miscounting or measuring wrong and setting one side a bit off from the other, whether front to back or left to right. That's on whoever is installing them, not the shelf, though. As they're just the sides of a shelf, they're pretty light and easy to handle. They're solidly constructed, even with the L-on-L extension, taking just a couple short bolts to hold them solidly together. I'd use these again over a full-width, full-depth shelf any time I have full-width gear. It's been a while, and the gear is still on the rack.

Holds a lot!
Nice and sturdy, I have mine mounted upside down (on the smallest size setting with about 275lbs of rack mount batteries on it (Don't do this at home kids) with no issues or signs of strain. Included mounting hardware is good quality. Would buy again!

Easy to put together.
Simple easy design. Easy to put together. Unfortunately they were too short for the server rack I have. Make sure to double check the depth of your rack.

Works great.
Using it in a 21” deep rack for my server. Much cheaper than OEM rails and it allows me to slide the server in and out as needed.

Decent Rails
These were easy to assemble and install. The various adjustable length allows easy adjustments for different depth racks. I did not find an easy way to use included screws to thread through rack ears to secure the chassis to the rack. Chassis needs to stick out to accommodate the round head screw.
