Great unit but!! The dehumidifier function... lots of people saying don't worry about it if you are not using it on dehumidifier,,, wrong,, wrong,, the ac collects humidity like a mf.. hook up the hose and capture it, fills a gallon every other day! it leaked through my cieling onto my couch in just ac mode because i kept it plugged up, it overflowed.. it cools extremely well, do not use extension cord unless it's like ten or 8 gage thickness. The unit could not cool the room until I repositioned it to where I did not need extension cord and then it cooled the room effortlessly. Great unit I just had some user error. The extension cord I had was 12 gage, the cord was super hot, dedicate an outlet for it. Don't make my mistakes, Great unit, buy it. Cools my entire upstairs no problem now. It monitors temp and shuts it's self off when nit needed. It maneuvers decently.Noise is ultra quiet compared to several other units I have had. It sits next to my bed and is a whisper compared to the window units I have had that sit all the way across the room.

Worked for a month.
It worked for about a month. I have a 100 sqft apartment in the city. This A/C cooled ok for about a month. The noise level SUCKS. You can barely hear over it, have to crank the TV. It provides decent white noise at night...until it reaches the set temp in the middle of the night and shuts off and on every 15 minutes or so. Not good for a bedroom/office like I'm using it. It worked like that for about 30 days. 2 days ago late at night it decided it wouldn't go below 75 without shutting itself off. I checked and found the coils froze. So I thawed it and drained it. Since then it doesn't cool anything. As soon as I turn it on it starts freezing on the inside while I'm dripping in sweat. Last night it got down to 83 in my room. It was 78 outside. This morning I thawed it again and drained two 8 oz glasses into a little cookie sheet on the floor. Left it off all day. Drained another glass from it when I got home before turning it on. Turned it on it was 84 in here after an hour it said 87 and it was already covered in thick ice like an unkept freezer after years. Turned it off after 3 hours of unbearable heat. Thawed it quickly and drained another glass full of water. Its been running again for two more hours... still 87, outside is 77. It is already covering itself with ice. I've done my best to maintain it and followed all trouble shooting steps. I'm an engineer and operating this machine seems beyond my skill set. I contacted manufacturer support. Waiting 48 hours for a response. I've been literally dripping in sweat in my room trying to work and sleep for the last 72 hours already. Hopefully I'm an idiot and the tech support can explain how I missed something simple and my space can be habitable again within the next 48 hours. If not it's going to be a hot July and I'll be sweating my self away until I shill it another stack of cash to cool off for a few weeks. I'm diabetic so I don't do well in the heat. If they fix my problem before I stroke out I'll update my review. As of right now it has 1 star, because I can't give it less.

LOUD, but effective
My house has insulation issues, a highly inefficient HVAC system, and is full of windows in the direct line of the sun. A $350 electric bill in the summer would get me 78 degrees in the coolest room on my second floor. This little unit does the job! I can now leave my window shades open (with direct direct sunlight), and the furthest room from the AC remains comfortable. I literally was unable to use that room before I got this AC!While it works super well, this thing is LOUD… like watching TV is difficult, and sometimes it feels like my sleep disturbed. I wish I could switch the unit to be further from my bedroom, but I have some HOA restrictions.Minor inconvenience, but I was unable to get the window attachment to fit in my window. I wound up using cardboard and blankets (not very pretty to look at!) to seal the window off.I can’t really speak to the energy efficiency of this AC, as I am comparing to a $350 summer electric bill for a 1350 sq ft house.

A little noisy but works
The media could not be loaded. Needed a portable AC for the coming hot season. This is the first portable AC I’ve owned. The AC does a good job of cooling our small bed room which was my main concern. It is noisier than I’m used to, but I can live with it as long as it's keeping me cool.Pros:Can cool up to 350sq. ft of spaceHas feather touch controls on its LCD display panelEasily setup, easy to use and easy to move with its 4 casters!4 modes: Auto, Cool, Fan and DrainA choice of 3 speeds with an automatic on/off timerComes with a fully functional remote control to switch the AC on and off from the couch or bedThis device comes with everything needed to use it including a flexible exhaust hose and easy-to-install window venting kit.Cons:Its short vent hose limits the air conditioners adaptabilityNeed to drain water periodically when the drain light is on

Broke quickly
Worked great for the 2 months I used it last year when I bought it. This year, after the 3rd time using it, it broke. I have to use a screwdriver to manually turn the internal fan to get it to spin and the fan speed no longer works, it will only stay on the lowest speed setting. Upsetting for the price I thought I could have at least got a few seasons out of it.
