Doesn’t work waste of money

This is the 2nd one I bought. Works great for a few months, then dies. Will not recharge via solar or plug. Don't waste your money, made in china.

We bought these to use around our pool. They do seem to help with bugs but I thought the lights came on automatically since they were solar.

This lantern/bug zapper is easy to use. I like the lantern feature. I do wish it worked during daylight hours but I guess I might be a waste of the bugs aren’t drawn to it, so that makes sense. I got it in advance of mosquito season, so I can’t yet say if it works awesome or not but anything has got to be better than what I endured last summer. Very happy with it so far.

👎 Produces high-pitch noise while charging from the sun, potentially ultrasound and potentially can disturb or harm animals (ironically, potentially capable of also repelling rodents)👎 The amount of noise it makes while "self-cleaning" is disturbing, it sounds like one of those old RC toys, but happens when you don't expect it to, hence usually scares the living out of me👎 Not bright at all, and doesn't catch as many bugs as my other zapper👎 No idea how often it cleans itself, but I keep seeing dead bugs in it for days, so perhaps weekly?👍 Actually catches and kills bugs👍 Lasts on longer than my other zapper👍 Turns itself on and off automatically depending on time of day (amount of light)I'll have to disassemble it and put a thick(er) wire to eliminate that high-pitch noise, and also do something about the motor's gearbox noise (replace it with a stepper motor or something like that).

The media could not be loaded. We love our little solar bug zapper and nightlight. We keep. It outside and barely have to used the USB charger to charge it. It's great for my father-in-law that used at night to go for a quick walk in our backyard. The zapper worked well in the first couple weeks. It's to the point we barely have any more bugz wondering out area. Great buy!

I love it! Super easy to use. Charges with a usb. It started working almost instantly even without having the light on! It's actually kind of pretty to even look at and it's very lightweight easy to hang solar powered. We will probably order several of these! Must have!
