Fancy Nancy

I bought this book for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She absolutely loves this book! Great illustrations and a fun story. She will request this book to be read to her. I have to talk her into reading another book just so we aren't reading "Fancy Nancy" 7 days a week. This book is interactive in the sense that there is soooooo much detail to the illustrations that you can spend so much more time on the pictures than just the words. I would recommend this book to all little girls that have a good imagination or need to spark their imagination. I think this will be a good book for my daughter for years to come! I can't wait to see what other "Fancy Nancy" books are out there to add to our library!

Every little girl I’ve read this to loves it!

Fuchsia is a fancy way to say purple. Stupendous is fancy for great. Posh is a fancy word for fancy. Chauffeur is fancy for driver. Ice cream sundaes are parfaits. And all of this great vocabulary goes down smooth with a spoonful of fantastically detailed illustrations!!!Fancy Nancy’s family is not fancy at all. Which is relevant in my house because our 7-year-old daughter is the fancy daughter of parents who are not fancy at all. I think different families would feel differently about Nancy being so fancy... For us, this book just honors how our daughter came into the world, and she loves that Nancy’s parents are plain and she can still be herself. If you have a child who is extremely feminine in a household that isn’t, this may be the book for you!

Perfect little kids book with a great learning message

Fancy Nancy is a beloved character from my daughter's childhood. We are now sharing her with my daughter's first child. This is a replacement of our1st Fancy Nancy book.

Think my grand daughter will really like this book. Illustrations are appealing, tho she will need someone to read it with her.

Fancy Nancy books are always fun for little ones who like to dress up fancy and talk fancy. There's always a few new fun words for the kids to use.

Sweet story to demonstrate beginning, middle and end and word choice.

Every little girl loves this story! My daughter asks to read this constantly and loves to dress up like Fancy Nancy. Such a fun book for little girls.

I have read this book with many children I know (girls that is!), and they have all thoroughly enjoyed the story. The busy illustration suit the style and content of the story. There is lots of excellent vocabulary too, which will help children develop their own expressive vocabulary and their use of adjectives in particular.
