This does its job! Assembly was fine but the spikes are sharp so wear gloves! I pull it behind my mower and it does great aeration without leaving plugs all over your lawn. I didn’t have bricks, but improvised and had really heavy brake rotors I strapped on for needed weight. I did passes in multiple directions and after seeded and fertilized. I also had to cross driveways and sidewalks (did it slowly) but no damage to spikes and still like new when completely finished so good quality thus far!

In hindsight I would have bought a unit with wheels on it.... I wouldn't mind if it was built a little heavier duty, you basically need two cinder blocks to get the weight for the right depth... And it feels like that's pretty much maxing out the sturdiness of it. Other than that it's pretty good for the money, just wish I would have got one with wheels cuz you have to pick it up physically to move it anywhere.

Works good for lawn tractor
To be sure, this is not a robust farm quality implement, but if you just want to aerate your lawn behind a lawn tractor, it works very well. Been using it for two years on about 2/3 acre with 3 cement blocks on it and it's still holding up.

Great lawn aerator
I like everything about the aerator. Reasonable cost, easy to assemble and use. The only additional item needed is something of weight to place on the frame top, to use. I use 3 concrete garden pavers for weight, and I pull it behind my Husqvarna Lawn riding mower after the lawn soil has been moistened and softened from a period of rain.

Easy to assemble. Performs as advertised. Great for residential use. You must wear quality gloves any time handling. Great value!

Not worth it.
The shipping was great It did show in a very quick timely manner and It was easy installation but I had put new topsoil on my lawn and tried to aerate the new topsoil as I was putting on fertilizer and grass seed. In doing so trying to pull it around My lawn the bolts kept coming loose it did not aerate even though it was on freshly added topsoil that was not packed very tight, the metal is too lightweight for the pulling arm kept bending also the brackets that held the main rod in place bent very easily. As far as weight and size is great but the overall quality of this product is not worth the price. If you're looking for an aerator for your lawn definitely spend the extra money and buy quality that works.
