Fun with Bongos

It's a solid introduction to the bongos and worth the few dollars that I paid. If you don't have anyone knowledgeable guiding your bongos purchase than you're better off buying this first to help you make the best decision.However:The book is tri-lingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) and there's not 33 pages of information but more like 20.Trevor Salloum also wrote "The Bongo Book" which has more advanced information and everything in this book except for the buying recommendations and a few other minor items. I recommend buying it instead.

But I would have preferred a slightly different format.The mingling of multiple languages in each page, gave me the same disheartening feeling of reading a User Manual for some consumer electronics products. May be Mr. Salloum or Mel Bay would consider this in their next edition of the book and in other future publications.The music CD is quite useful.

It's a great book for real beginners, where you ca learn to read music and very easy exercises to star with. But, you will need another book to be able to play rithms. The other books starts where this one finishes.

This book was purchased to accompany the Tycoon bongos I purchased for my 11 yr old grandson. It comes with a DVD and he's enjoying the instruction it provides.

Great book.. It really help you know a lot about bomgo drums.. And the best part is that it comes with a DVD.. It really help you learn about how to play.. Thanks

This play along book is very easy to use. It has a lot of cool beats for the bongo, and I have been practicing them on my bongo drums and I am getting better.

Good background on the history of the instrument. The book gives excellent step by step instruction on the basics of playing.

The dc that i received with my item was blank, i send a mail to let them know that i received a blank cd but i never receive a replay,I'm not happy at all
