Great motor, fairly quiet and oddly enough pretty easy to install. This kit comes with all the o-rings and spring seals that you'll need when replacing your pool motor. Recommend you go to "You Tube" and search Sta-Rite for a "how to" video. Also, I recommend that you connect the wiring to the new motor before mounting this thing back onto the impeller housing, as the wires are thick & solid copper and difficult to work with when making the reconnection to the motor. Not to mention the fact, that once the motor is reinstalled, the electrical box is at the 5 o'clock angle and tough to get to!

motor came in with a broken piece. had to wait over a week to get replacement piece. should have gotten a new motor. when piece finally arrived and we were able to hook up the pump it did not work. apparently there was more damage done in the motor than we realized. i would swear it was refurbished, not brand new as stated. however i must say that ashley, the customer service manager was really trying to help me. even though my pool has so much algae in it we still do not have a motor. we have to wait until they receive the motor back before they issue credit so we can get a new pump. this whole ordeal with this company has been a nightmare.

Great motor for the price
Great motor for the price. Only one minor problem - the shaft and impeller seals were the wrong size. Took the parts to my local pool store and got the right parts, no problem. Installation was easy and the motor has been working great!
