These are very poorly constructed. You're lucky if they even turn on (after you pull out the tab, and find the ON button, through the fabric). Of those that will actually turn on, 1 out of 3 will stay lit for more than 30 seconds. Each scrunchie has one tiny control box in the rubber band part and one tiny control box in the two pieces that hang down. The two pieces are really a short scarf slipped through the scrunchie and tied in a knot. The lights are on teeny tiny wires that are soldiered to this cheap, tiny box with 3 batteries in it. Now, whoever thought those teeny wires and that one teeny dot of soldier was going to survive being either used as a scrunchie, or tied in a knot around a scrunchie? Nope. Buy the lighted shoe strings and tie those onto your dog, your waist, and your ponytail. They work much better than these.

These are really fun. It can be a little challenging to get the tab out of the battery but they do light up really well.

They look nice, but that’s about where the quality ends. One of the battery packs came completely destroyed, falling apart. Another 2 of them don’t fully work. The scrunchie part works and the tail doesn’t, or vice versa.

Batteries don’t last very long. Good for an evening of fairy princess play. But batteries don’t hold up much longer than that.
