I attached mine to the sub floor using 1/2" sheet metal screws and that worked really well. As I started to run low on screws I got out my Arrow T50 staple gun and used 1/2" staples and they worked really well and a lot faster. I use a cordless electric stapler with HD staples and they install easily. Follow the proper installation process and have a great end product.
