Yes, Just For Flowers BLACK CHERRY is a red hue, inclining to purple. Note however that this product is transparent color and differs from 'spray paint'. Each additional coat of spray will deepen the color. You can control how light or dark you want it to be while still seeing surface details through the color. Hope that's helpful.
