NOT JUST FOR TEA - if you weigh your coffee beans then this is the perfect vessel for you. Especially good with the Niche Zero because if you weigh in the dosing cup you are gonna turn the grinder on one day without putting the cup back under it and grind your coffee all over the counter! Not with this delightful “tea scoop.” Weigh coffee, dump coffee (works great with the narrow opening on hand grinders!) and grind coffee. Wonderful.

This was exactly what I was expecting. This was a good price for one bought in the US (if you can find one). The packaging was great, no worries about breaking in transit.So why did I choose this over a small gladware cup (which is what I use for coffee beans) to weigh my tea out in? Because it pours. After weighing my tea I can easily "pour" my tea into its destination. If I try to "pour" my tea with a gladware cup I may not completely hit my target. Coffee grinders have a big mouth where teaware might not. I don't know why these tea presentation vessels are not more readily available in the US.

It didn’t last as long as other ones I have owned. Unfortunately it was very fragile and it dropped onto a wooden table after I made the mistake of placing a presentation vessel on top of a teacup and I have a picture of it included. Not really your fault as it happened when I put it down but it is extremely fragile I’ve never had one break from this fall of about 6 inches, especially since it fell onto my wooden table and not a totally hard surface like from a table to a tile floor. In short, know that these are extremely fragile!

I bought this to weigh and pour coffee beans as suggested by previous reviewers. However, this bowl has an interior lip that prevents smooth pouring. I have to tilt the bowl beyond vertical to get the last 20 percent of the coffee beans out and by that point they dump out in a big lump which is messy and difficult to control.

Beautiful! Looks great with my white gaiwan & cups from different vendors. They even sent a sample of tea. It’s perfect for weighing tea and I especially love the pour spout for aiming it precisely into the gaiwan or other tea diffuser without getting leaves everywhere.
