The Best There Is
My husband received a tube of this years ago from a hospital nurse after receiving a horrible sun burn. Ever since then he's been hooked on the product. So after I received a sunburn a few years ago he ran out (drove 45 minutes one way) to a medical supply store to buy some to relieve my suffering. We spent anywhere from $15-$17 for an 8oz tube. This stuff is a lifesaver!!!! I was happy to find it on Amazon and now my husband won't have to drive anywhere to buy it and I only spent $8 for an 8oz tube on Amazon. It has been used multiple ways in our home from sunburns, to heat related burns, to winter chapped skin, to diaper rashes. I'm not sure that there is anything out there that it isn't good for.Product - It's very, very thick and oily. Since it's so thick it only takes a small dab to get good coverage. An 8oz tube can last any where from 1 year to 2 years depending on how heavily/often you use it. It can be greasy and messy if you have to apply it in a large area, but once it has soaked in it's totally worth the mess.Sunburns - It almost instantly takes away the fever in the burn and relieves the skin to the point that you may not even peel, depending on the degree of the burn.Heat Burns - If you have ever had boiling water or hot grease splash or pop on your skin, you know it can be painful. Again the ointment instantly soothes the pain and reduces the irritation in the skin and/or blister.Chapped/Chaffing Skin - If you have to deal with harsh winter winds, this is a great product to protect your skin with. It's safe enough to use on the sensitive tissues around the eyes (just don't get it in your eyes). I highly recommend using it throughout the winter to protect your skin from becoming chapped. Also if you have rough feet/heels throw some on your feet and put some old socks on overnight. It does wonders for tough calluses.Diaper Rashes - I cannot say enough about this ointment and its diaper rash protection abilities. My son frequently gets rashes while teething. We generally use Triple Paste, but there are times that Triple Paste turns into chemical burn from over-usage. So we've switched to Aloe Vesta. It not only protects the rash from becoming worse, but it heals the tissue damage already present. Due to its thick nature it is fabulous at soaking into the skin to protect it, staying on the skin to keep any further damage from being done as well as not soaking into the diaper too much, like other pastes do. If you can't find one thing that works for a diaper rash, this product will be right up your alley. I stand behind it 100%.Pros: Multiple Uses, Lasts a long time, Thick, Great value for the priceCons: Oily/Grease

Amazing Product
This has been a game changer for my feet. It softens my dry hands also! Great for dry cuticles. It’s some what thick but it spreads easily. I highly recommend it!

great cream for skin rashes
I am a long time user of this Aloe Vista. I had a tube my Mother used and I put it on my grandchildren when we would go to Amusement Park. When they would do water rides it protected them from heat rash.

Good for radiation therapy-treated skin
This ointment is great for skin that's been in radiation therapy--you may not see superficial damage while you're getting radiation, but it sure will show up. The ointment is quite thick but not greasy or cloying, and helped with the massive peeling. It contains aloe vera and does NOT contain a frequent ingredient associated with causing cancer, that does appear in other ointments. Radiation oncology people give patients (myself among them) samples of this, and it is soothing, cooling, and good for peeling, dried, irritated and generally unhappy (INTACT!) skin (not for wounds). Always ask your health care person first, read the labels, consult with your doctor to make sure it's ok for YOU. After using the samples given me at our radiation oncology centre I searched this stuff out and am very happy with using it both as an after-treatment and a general skin soother for the peripheral neuropathy from both chemo and radiation. Always consult with your health care professionals before using anything, including OTC products, you never know...

Great stuff!
I was introduced to this by my sister-in-law who is a registered nurse. It’s not only great for healing diaper rashes, but it’s also good for any other sort of minor cuts or skin irritations you might have (to include chaffed inner thighs - don’t ask).
