Tangkula Remote Control, Touch Screen, 750-1500W Electric Fireplace and Wall Mounted Electric Heater with Flame Color and Speed

We love our new fireplace! It provides ample heat to our living room and kitchen and is super easy to turn on and off, as well as switch the color depending on your mood :) We had an old gas fireplace that was not usable, and after getting a quote for $5K to replace it, we decided to just seal it and cover it up with an electric fireplace insert. Total project cost was $500 and took me an entire weekend to complete. This fit the space perfectly and really upgrades and modernizes the look of the room as well provides a good amount of heat. It’s basically a large space heater, and it’s quite to run. Mounting it took some creativity but I was able to figure out a solution. We’ve been using it for the last few months and so far it’s been awesome! Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the fireplace. I really like all the colour settings. My only dislike is the remote control it does not work that well. It’s a hit and miss situation.The heat coming from the top instead of underneath is much nicer for distribution of heat.

This is my 2nd unit. Upstairs Bedroom use. Heater works well ... and the many variations of flame colors, speed, intensity, etc. are pretty 'cool'. Recessed within the wall ... the unit really looks nice, Very easy to remove the front glass [prior to installation] and didn't take long to Fabricate a perimeter 2X4 frame which is inset within the wall studs, A beginner could install this unit ... it is that easy. Took me over an hour to measure, cut drywall, make frame, mount it, then insert Fireplace. A receptacle is nearby ,,, so Power Hook-up took another 15-minutes to run a dedicated outlet [box] for the plug. I highly recommend this nice Fireplace. Arrived in a sturdy box with adequate styrofoam packing - no damage.

My wife has been asking for a fireplace for our room for a couple of months, so I wound up looking at a ton of reviews and decided to go forward and roll the dice with this unit.Absolutely love it! Easy to install, directions are ok, and it looks great. The dimensions for the install were spot on so building the wall unit was a snap.Overall expense for the unit and the build out was roughly $500 all in.Highly recommend this fireplace

I opted to use it to replace a baseboard in a upstairs bathroom. Creates a great ascetic look and having a remote is handy.For the $ though I would have liked a way to set a temp so its not just on endlessly. Most the time It will probably get used for family members showering, but I wish there was a easier way to ensure it gets shut off via wifi/app or some other control like a thermostat. I assumed it had a temp control but the digital display is mainly for 2 digit digital representations of colors.General negatives: little noisy, and no temp control.Improvements: way to lock it into 750w mode, thermostat, or enforced timer.
