Love this kit
This kit is awesome. Firstly, I'm not lucky enough to be sent products for reviews or anything like that I bought this on my own and have a long list of reviews from 1-5 stars on my account to back it up. I know reviews are hard to trust anymore especially glowing 5 stars.I've used this kit twice by now & it is my favorite way to do nails and I've tried a lot of methods from traditional acrylic to gel to natural to falsies and extensions. Personally, I can't stand the look of fake nails anymore because they NEVER truly emulate the natural curves of a nail. I like the look of natural nails basically but I have a hard time growing mine out. This is the perfect product for me, for acrylic overlay on my natural nails to give them strength. I can't for the life of me get the hang of applying traditional acrylic with monomer and a brush, that is a heck of a skill and I'm just not good at it. This kit is honestly easy, it's as easy as applying regular polish and the products work nicely. It truly sets down to a hard acrylic and looks professional. You can keep it thin or build it up either way it's perfect for adding a coat of strength to prevent breakage and the pink is a perfect cover pink it looks totally natural just brightens up the nail. The files and pusher included are actually high quality too.The only issue I'm having is with the sealer, the last step. So far it's tricky to work with. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough for it to fully dry -5 minutes max it says but it dries down streaky. I've used a regular top coat in place of the sealer and skipped the base and finish powder with better results. I'm pretty sure the base and finish is purely for buffing and adding thickness like capping and I like thin nails so apparently it's not necessary for every manicure cause mine are fine and holding up. That's an important note so you don't waste product, it's a step you can skip if you're like me.I think dipping nails is the most at home friendly method yet and this kit is good quality, if you're looking to try it I think it's worth it.

Easy to remove easy to file and shape
I have tried a few dip kits. One was weird and had this gadget to help form a nail if you needed to, and the other had a bunch of colors which was why i bought it, but both of those brands were difficult to work with and very hard to shape and a total pain to remove!! I bought Dipwell kit back in 2019, and I'd only used it twice as I am more of a gel gal, but this kit I kept. I just pulled it out to repair a broken nail to help grow it out. It worked out so well that I decided to do all my nails with dipwell. Well I had a blast with it. I've re-enforced all my natural nails, so now I have a nice set of acrylics. I found the product easy to file and shape once the nail was cured with activator and completely dry.I did use this kit with tips once before and found it very easy to use. Some of my natural nails kind of dip in the center and I was able to create a lovely apex by applying base and powder down the middle a couple of times where it was concave before applying to the whole nail, just as if I were applying a nail tip. I was careful not to flood my cuticles for the most part, but I used a very small dotting tool to remove any excess product from around the cuticle before using activator. A toothpick would work well too. I did find that on the nails that had more product, I had to use more activator as I filed them. My coats were very thin, so that made me wonder if it would be better to activate product after every two coats and then just rough up the cured product a little before applying base and powder again, continuing to build the nail. It's very easy to keep adding product to the already cured product. You should not use thick coats as it makes it harder to cure and can dent easily.I almost always have to file, but I have found that even nail techs have to file dip powder. Dipwell is pretty easy to file down though. I used a 180 grit to shape and remove product and the double sided file included in the kit is a must to really get them smooth otherwise it leaves a gritty finish. I only used the base/finish powder this time and I find that it is very natural looking. My nails are ready for paint. They will accept gel, enamel or more dip powder if I don't mind thicker nails--but I do so I'll go with regular old nail polish. I'll make sure to use a base coat so I don't stain my acrylics. You can use acetone polish remover. It does make the nail a little tacky afterward which goes away by wiping with lint free pad and alcohol. When I remove the product, I scuff up my nail to break the surface a bit. I place a paper towel in a ziplock then pour acetone into it. I then put just my fingers in the bag and then after about 5 minutes, I rub the nails on the paper towel for about 10-15 minutes more. They come out clean. That's all it takes! This process is very drying so I wash my hands with a gentle soap and moisturize right away. I make sure to give my nails a break from whatever treatments I do regularly, but I find that dipwell is actually less harsh on my nails as long as I don't scuff them up too much initially when I'm removing the shine from my nail before applying.I'm liking this product very much.

OMG! It's so easy to get a really nice look!
Love the kit! Delivery was prompt. Kit came unscathed and complete. White is nice an opaque as should be, pink is a nice sheer barely there look. I think they have the color down!I do my own nails at home, but am not all that great at it (you can see from the pics!). The instructions were very easy to follow. The products were really nice to use. Fumes were truly not bad at all... and I'm very sensitive to these fumes and that's why I RARELY go to the salon. I did buy the additional french nail dip tray/container to experiment with getting a better "french smile" than free-hand. I used this product on my own naturals and was very happy with the finished product. So far it's last me for over a week... true test will be to see how long these will last. The pics are after about 5days. The 'sealer' brush dried out very quickly, so I just switched it with the one in the brush cleaner... no biggie. Sealer wasn't as shiny as I'd like it to be, so I put on an extra coat of my own top coat that I like to use. For $40 (+ $5.99 french dip tray), it was a great experiment that turned out really well.I haven't taken these off yet, I don't think I'll have any issues as I didn't with another dipping system that I tried before this!As promised... I posted the 2 latest pictures... that's after 2weeks. You can see my nail growth. Over the 2 weeks, I've filed them to reshape, and then last night to cut and filed ... and yet they still held up well. There is the start of peeling from the bottom of the nail after about 10days as you can see on a few of the nails... but I think that's do to my not applying proper coverage on the nails. Hope this helps.
