I've never used the name-brand tabs that these are copied from, so I can't speak to whether these are as good as the real thing. However, I was able to pull with a great deal of force using ratchet straps. The glue adhered to the tabs well and the tabs themselves took a very strong pull without issues. I can't see spending the money on the brand-name tabs unless you do PDR for a living. If you have issues with adhesion, try a different glue. They are not all created equal. Also make sure to allow sufficient cooling time before you start pulling.

This is a handy little kit and I'm now of the opinion every workbench should have one. Bargain priced (at least when I bought mine), as described and I find myself using it more than I thought I would. Pick one up, you will not regret it. When you need it, you need it. When you don't need it, it is not taking up much space.

The hammer and tapdown are ok ok quality.... The threads on the tap down tips are not the same as ANY other dent repair tool tips. BE AWARE no way to return back to owner (for less than $85 shipping)

Works well for glue pulling for aluminum body panels

Very good holding capability as long as you clean the surface well with alcohol and enough hot glue.I was able to use a ratchet strap and had to put a cargo bar to hold the door closed and keep it from bending. Great product I highly recommend it.

Provo a fare un quadro complessivo della mia esperienza. Avevo un botta sul cofano. Simile ad un grosso chicco di grandine. La posizione di lavoro era agevole poiché quasi in orizzontale. Ho acquistato il kit per fare leva con la colla a caldo, un martelletto con le varie punte e una pistola per colla liquida con alcuni stick. Il kit per fare leva è robusto e facile da usare. Lavoro fatto in febbraio ma con temperature non troppo fredde. Primo e secondo tentativo, la colla si staccava subito. Allora, come consigliato da molti ho acquistato altri stick, Colla più morbida e filosa ma decisamente più resistente. Tenuta maggiore ma dopo un poco si staccava e la botta era come prima. Allora ho scaldato acqua con il bollitore. L’ho versata sulla botta e dopo avere asciugato ho ripetuto il lavoro. la tenuta era molto forte ma poi, agendo progressivamente sulla vite centrale per fare leva si allentava progressivamente dalla vite ma non dal cofano. In sostanza, nonostante la presa fosse forte, il fatto che la colla si allentasse ha fatto sì che il risultato fosse nullo. Invece ho ottenuto qualche miglioramento usando il martelletto. Sempre scaldando prima la carrozzeria con l’acqua e poi picchiettando senza tanta forza i bordi dell’ammaccatura. Solo dopo che avrete preso la mano potrete aumentare un pochino la forza dei colpetti del martello. In sostanza la botta non è andata via ma si è ridotta molto. Sono rimasto abbastanza soddisfatto del martelletto. Ho lavorato circa 3 ore in 2 giorni diversi. Poi mi sono stancato. Proseguirò con il martelletto tra un po’ di tempo. Forse proverò anche un altro attrezzo visto in amazon che usando la colla consente di tirare su la botta con colpi più secchi e decisi della leva che per me è stata totalmente inutile

Used to remove a substantial dent in my wife's car and it worked perfectly.It takes time and patience (8hours) of careful precision work but the result was more than satisfactory.Very pleased.

Ottimo prodotto, martello ben equilibrato e maneggevole, gli inserti hanno una superficie della giusta consistenza per agire correttamente sulla carrozzeria senza danneggiare la vernice. Utilizzare l'inserto della dimensione giusta in base alla dimensione della lamiera da raddrizzare e il risultato vi stupirà.
