Perfect
If you don't have a Tuff Stuff eraser, go get one now. Whether you are an artist or just a journal-writer, this eraser will become so useful! Other than those other bulky erasers, this one is like an exacto-knife equivalent in the eraser world. It will erase exactly and ONLY what you want. Now, to talk about the refill sticks, they fit perfectly and is just what I expected. These eraser sticks last so long (despite their thinness) and erase super easily. There weren't any scars or "pot-holes" in the eraser. If you have the Tuff Stuff eraser and it has been sitting in the corner of your desk or drawer because you are too lazy to get the refills, order this NOW.

These are too expensive! It's unbelievable! I ordered these because I've forgotten a real price, yesterday I bought a pack of 3 just for 2 bucks!!!!I feel foolish.

Eraser Refill
This is the first time I've liked an eraser pencil good enough to order eraser refills. Both the tuff stuff eraser pen and the refills work great. They do leave a little residue but it blows or lightly brushes right off. I us this with Charcoal drawings only. I do not know how well they would work with grafite, but I believe they would be fine...

Great, but puts a dent in your wallet...
I found a Paper Mate Tuff Stuff Eraser Stick one day in a classroom, and I immediately put it too use. I have a Zebra mechanical pencil, and the erasers on them are ridiculously small, and I do not like to use them. So finding this "mechanical eraser" was a miracle, and extended the life of my Zebra mechanical pencils because I would throw them out once the eraser on top was completely expelled. I soon realized that the eraser stick within the Tuff Stuff eraser was beginning to meet the end of its use, and I went to nearly every site and store in my area, but could not find any. I soon found out that this particular eraser stick had been discontinued. I came here and found the sticks, but for an outrageous price. That is the only gripe I have about the product. Other than that, I am pleased.

priced out of the market
When these eraser sticks cost $1.59 for a pack of two in 2013, delivered, it was a 5 star product to me. Now that the cost is $4.72 for the same thing, a 300% inflation in price, it is no longer worth it to me.

Its like using a wet noodle
What others had told me about these replacement sticks is true. They are not as good as the one that came originally with the eraser. That would would stay firm and was able to be sharpened to a point. These replacement sticks are like erasing with a wet noodle, and are very difficult to sharpen. Not sure what else you can other other than buy a new Tuff Stuff eraser.

Great for drawing
I draw lots and lots of pictures. I can be pretty meticulous when I draw so these erasers are perfect. They go into a holder that is like a mechanical pencil, but it's an eraser instead! Because they are so thin, I can erase very specific areas and leave other areas untouched. Not much smearing to speak of! If you're like me and you like to do delicate, precise drawings, this is a great addition to your tool set.

Caution Buyers
This seems to be an ad for Tuff Stuff Eraser Sticks but it is really for eraser stick REFILLS. Office Depot kindly refunded the cost and let me keep the refills but then they sent me PENTEL eraser sticks - a different size and not the skinny eraser I needed. Anyway - beware buying items without pictures!
