Q: What are the ingredients? More specifically, does it have Ginger in it?

According to the label on my bottle: Bovine spleen and ovine spleen. Other Ingredients: Honey, arabic gum, and calcium stearate.I knew bovine meant cow, but I wasn't sure what ovine was. I looked it up, it means sheep.

Q: What's the difference between this product and the spleen pmg?

The Spleen PMG is processed to contain the genetic material from the nucleus of the spleen cells. That material can help support the spleen itself. Spleen Desiccated contains the actual gland and can help support spleen function. Desiccates are normally for short term use while the spleen itself is being supported. Desiccate supports gland function and the PMG supports health of the gland.

Q: Are these chewable tablets?

No, these tablets are not considered chewable. All Standard Process tablets are the same ‘diameter’ which is about 7/8 inch across. The thickness can change though from product to product.

Q: When the description says for " short term" use, does any one know why only for short term? Thanks 😊

I asked my doctor the same thing. Among other things this stuff boosts your immune system - big time. Using this preparation for too long could over stimulate your immune system and cause problems. Depending on your condition "short term" could be as long as a year. In my case my MD had me stop sing it after just 90 days (1 bottle). It brought my CRP levels to normal.
