Just in case you are unsure what these are for..if you slide some induction pans on the cooking surface or especially if you are using cast iron pans, they may scratch the surface of the cooktop. These help protect the surface. They do not slide around easily and remember the maximum temperature warning. Easy to clean. I am happy with this purchase and recommend them.

Wanted to protect the glass surface of our new induction range. These work perfectly and also keep pans in place. I have been watching temps of pans just to get a good idea of what 450 degrees relates to on the burner settings. So far have never reached that temp in normal cooking.When reading reviews be careful. It’s obvious some people used these gas or non induction cooktops. Obviously didn’t read instructions.

Bad bad bad gets all wet

These worked great. They are very thin, but provided all the cushion I was hoping for. One of my pet peeves with the induction cooktop (and my glass cooktop before this) was that even good quality pans do not always sit perfectly flat and they have a tendency to wander around as I’m stirring. These silicone pads totally stopped that issue. The pans stay where I put them even while I stir or whisk sauces. They clean up easy. My only complaint is that they do not exactly fit any of the cooking spaces. I have a long rectangular area that I use with a griddle. The silicone mat helps tremendously with the griddle, but it is about 1 1/2” shorter than the cook zone. I don’t know that this actually impacts the cooking, but it is in my head nonetheless. I will probably order the round mats for my other two burners. Although the rectangle works fine on my largest round burner, it is not as nice aesthetically. All in all, I wish I had found these 5 years ago when I switched to induction.

Works as advertised, not too thick as to be cumbersome but solid feeling like it wont rip or wear. Provides a confident layer of protection between our Monogram cooktop and our le creuset pans. Does not seem to impede or reduce power. Exactly what we wanted. 5 stars

These work protect our induction stove from pan scratches from cooking. 2 monthes so far using these under out pans and the new stove looks great. We ordered the black ones and we wash them with dawn dish soap but they don't clean up as well as you might like. But they beat a scratched up stove.

Appears to work as we wanted. I DOES stop pans from moving around and leaving scratches on that beautiful black glass induction top. Cannot tell any difference with pots/pans are cooking, doe not appear to cut heat. The small magnetic 'vibration' is still there - that is not a problem, its a characteristic of induction. They do dress up the stove top.

Bought as a pair. Needed one. Glad I did. I use the second when I the first is being washed. Get size to cover more than the cooking area. Spatter will hit the mat and not the burner area. Easier to clean. Does wonderful job protecting the glass surface from scuffs and scratches.
